chapter five

His eyes widened as he asked " How do you know this name?", she fidgeted with the hem of her shirt before staring at him "I heard you calling that name when you were unconscious", she whispered, a pang of hurt in her heart as his eyes softened "Don't think much about it, she was someone important to me in my past"

She frowned "and now?" She softly asked, some unknown emotion swirled through his eyes as he spoke "She's dead", her eyes moistened seeing him in pain as she held his palm though it burnt her, her main purpose was to comfort him now.

He chuckled "Don't worry, there's a thing called reincarnation, i believe i and lolanthe will get to meet again", she gulped a bit before asking him "you said she's important..if you don't mind me asking, in what way?" She asked while he looked down "She was my love", a slight gasp left her mouth

"she was his love" yn whispered, an ache in her heart, but why? She didn't have to answer to it.

"are you waiting for her?" She asked while he didn't respond and just nodded his head, she smiled slightly, but what emotion lay behind it for that smile to look so empty? She shook her emptiness away as he got lost deep in his thoughts while she sighed "everything will be alright, you will have your love back" she smiled though she felt a pang in her heart, he smiled looking into her doe eyes whose eyes showed the assurance he needed

He grazed his lips over her forehead "thank you my human" he whispered as she just smiled before looking down lost in her thoughts, a flicker of blue in her orbs

"Ynieeeee" said a man while hugging her tight as she got startled coming out of her thoughts instantly but grinned widely hugging him back "Jimin" she whispered as jungkook watched them both baffled, a tint of sadness evident in his expression

Jimin peck her whole face making her giggle "stop it Minnie" she spoke trying to control her laughs as he grinned widely, his eyes disappearing due to the impact, "I missed you so much yniieeee" he spoke feeling excited and extremely happy to see her.

"Look, I brought your favourite strawberry milkshake that I made myself" he spoke handing her over the drink as she smiled taking a sip "where's mom?" She asked him as he smiled "aunt said she has to go somewhere, but she made us both breakfast"

She raised an eyebrow "does my mom know about your arrival before pabo?" She asked squinting her eyes as Jimin smiled nervously "I wanted to surprise you" he spoke as she chuckled patting his hair

Jungkook poke his cheek with his tongue while looking at them both, a hint of displeasure as he watched them close with each other, their skinship annoying him, was that because she looked like lolanthe or something more?

She scanned her surroundings before her eyes landed over jungkook who just smiled a bit, Jimin cupped her cheeks squishing them, her lips puckered as she squinted her eyes "what are you doing?" She asked as he watched her with puppy eyes

"Ynieee let's go out hmm?I missed you so much" he spoke as she sighed giving a slight nod while staring at his puppy eyes because she could never say no to him

"Fine pabo, let's go but we need to head back home before night okay?i still have to draw a painting" he pouted but nodded nevertheless and grabbed on her palm making her get up "let's go already" he spoke excited as she chuckled getting up

She took one last glance at jungkook who just smiled at her, his heart aching to see them so close with each other, Jimin and yn immediately went towards her car as she sat in the driver's seat while he sat in the passenger seat, turning on the music and humming to it

Jungkook stared out of the window before his wings popped out as he jumped off before his wings fluttered, with a powerful thrust, he flew across before deciding to sit in the back seat of their car

Jimin gripped on her palm as they were engaged in a conversation, jungkook poked his cheek, she appeared very engaged in her conversation with jimin while failing to notice jungkook as he huffed out air while sitting on the top of car "I can't watch this unholy thing" he muttered , his ears perked up as his powers worked their way, hearing their conversation, occasionally scoffing.

His expression changing as he felt a throbbing pain in his head "my human" he whispered as she grit her teeth feeling her headache getting worse, she took in deep breathes and faked a smile so as to not worry jimin

Jungkook clearly worried, motioned his hand in the air as the breeze blew around him softly turning into a white light concentrated into his palm, the stone in her pendant shone which couldn't be detected to the human's eye, as she frowned feeling her headache go away

But no it didn't, it was transferred to jungkook as he groaned in pain, she felt a pain in her chest which went unnoticed by jungkook as she breathed out heavily , an uneasiness settled at the pit of her stomach, slowly jungkook dozed off if that's possible

But he didn't, jungkook was drawn to an illusion of the past as his breath hitched

Flashback

His white wings shone bright as he flew in the high sky, sunlight kissing his skin as he grinned feeling the light breeze hitting his skin "such a beautiful day" he muttered while snapping his finger making his crown disappear

He flew across the sky, the dense forest beneath him as he scanned through the forest before sensing something, an creature was hurt as he sighed planning to heal it, motioning his wings, he flew down gracefully yet in a fast manner while sensing the aura of the hurt animal, his sense heightened as the metallic smell reached his nostrils, fastening his pace as the smell got stronger, he halted before making his way through the ground as he landed with a graceful step, walking towards the source as he scanned his surroundings , his wings disappearing.

His feet came to a halt as he noticed another presence, more specifically, the supposed injured animal being a bunny that's being treated by a girl, her back towards him as he watched with curiosity, her voice hitting his ears

"it's okay little bunny, I am here hmm? It won't hurt anymore" she mumbled while softly kissing it's nose as blue light surrounded the bunny with a motion of her fingers healing it's wound, as the wound started closing, a soft smile on her face while jungkook watched in amusement

She giggled keeping the bunny down as it hopped around her making her turn around, his breath caught in his throat as he watched her eyes holding the most innocence, a sweet smile he could watch forever, her soft locks twirling around as she giggled catching the bunny which jumped into her arms kissing it's nose once again

His heartbeat increased when suddenly she looked up scanning through her surroundings until finally, her gaze was locked into his, he coughed clearing his throat, his cheeks red due to embarassment as he waved a bit "Hello" he mumbled in low feeling shy as she smiled widely "Hey, what are you doing here?" She asked curiously as he chuckled a bit

"I came here when i sensed that someone is injured and so it appears that this little bunny was hurt" he said caressing it's fur while she hummed with a soft smile "but he is healed now, you healed him" he replied with amusement as she giggled while caressing it's fur too

"Yeah, this little bunny is fine now hmm? Aren't you hungry little one?" She asked while feeding him a carrot she has brought to feed as jungkook watched with sparkling eyes, she chuckled a bit while grinning widely "do you want to feed him?", he looked hesitant but nodded his head as she hand him over one carrot, slowly he motioned it infront of the bunny's mouth which looked at him for a bit

"it's okay, don't worry he's a good one" she spoke as the bunny started nibbling on the carrot making her chuckle while jungkook grinned being amused

"what's your name?" She asked, her doe eyes staring right at him as he looked flustered but nonetheless smiled "I am jungkook and you?", she smiled "i am-"

The illusion ended as he gasped heavily getting up while scanning his surroundings, his palms sweaty as he ran his fingers through his hair feeling frustrated, his heart beating at an abnormal pace, taking deep breathes he calmed down, slowly recalling the "dream" he had.

Frowning a bit "what's wrong with me? Her smile, why was it so different, she never shows her teeth, then why?" He mumbled lost in deep thoughts until he heard a giggle and that's when he noticed they were already at the destination she wanted to show Jimin, the very place she claimed to be able to see him.

"Look Jiminah, isn't this place beautiful?" She giggled, that's when he saw it, jungkook saw her smile, it was wide, showcasing her upper teeth, beautiful and cute, her doe eyes held the innocence that no one could ever hold.
