Four months ago ~

I remembered my mumma's word as..

"A wife's soul resides inside her husband. And to prove the world, their sincerity and bond, one should keep that trust and love intent in their mariage.

And for the husband, to follow his wife and support her. For all to come and see what a power, the wife actually holds."

...I sat beside my soon to be husband. Hridey Shekhawat.

I vow the seven vows of the marriage, intent to keep them no matter what our situation is. And no matter the condition.

My family acting normal does not mean that everything's fine. And I can feel that in the way my family's men tense ever second here or there.

I know something's there. And I knew it when my Abhi Bhai -the name no one calls him anymore- walked out of the royal car after his accident.

I don't know, but the man that excited the royal car was not 'cute softy' Abhi Bhai but, 'cold and agnorant' Abhiveer Singh Rathore.

That day, the winds of the royal mansion changed their course. Turning everything cold and erupting goosebumps from deep within the souls.

I still remember that day, the royal guards and workers bowed their head in fear for the first time, in front of their 'soon-to-be king' Abhiveer.

The cold stoic leader, who was throned 5 days later as the king.

The mantras chants from the priests turns our union, magical and eternal. Sevoring our souls together and making us one.

I vow to keep every promise this marriage brings.

And I vow to keep the 7 vows of the marriage as we took our rounds around the eternal fire.

Present ~

The saying of my mom on my wedding day I was feeling it today when I saw my husband going abroad, for his work.

He was going away, when it's wasn't even 2 months to our weddings. The worry for my husband's safety. The longing, I had felt every second of it.

And I knew it all! I was falling head over heels for my husband without the wheel of my emotions in my control.

I stand back as the father and son duo talked. Papa ji has his hand placed firmly over his son's shoulder, navigating him about something.

I smile at the how beautiful this bond is, which always remind me of the other similar duo of my life.

Wish I could meet them soon enough, again. A wave of sadness washes over me at the mention of them. The family I left behind for my new family.

Hridey turns my way and I smile shadowing my internal disturbance, locking my shoulder back.

He looks deep in thought as he comes forwarOmkommomommmmokmd talking me in a hug. Papa ji leaves the room at the same time.

"What are you thinking.?" I look up at my husband as he keeps me tangled in his arms band.

"Nothing." Silence follow my answer as he tilt's his head.

"I miss them." I whisper in a little voice, leaning my head on my husband chest closing my eyes.

"And you are leaving too."

"I wouldn't be going if it weren't important. I will try to be back as soon as I can, I promise." A soft kiss peaks on my forehead., calming me for a moment.

"You can visit them. My dad can handle himself. He always have."

The thought of visiting my family has me smiling like a brighter day.

"Thank you, hubby." In excitement I kiss his cheeks, before taking a moment catching myself.

Don't be so excited, mehu.

A laugh blooms in the room as he pressed a hard kiss on my neck, which automatically had me titling my head a bit back.

"I will miss you." He murmurs into my skin, pressing more kisses on my neck and skin.

My stomach tingles with nervousness and excitement.

"Son." Papa Ji's voice came from front door.

"Coming, dad." He start to detach himself from me, but I hold his neck back, hugging him.

Trying to savour and remember the feel into my being. This feels to much. Too many emotions at the same time.

"I will be back as soon as I can, I promise." He presses a soft kiss on my shoulder.

"I will miss you too." I said kissing his forehead.

He finally detach himself from me before another call from papa ji could sound.

"Have fun in my sasural." He says with a wink, walking backwards towards the door, looking right at me as I laugh.

"Haan ji." I smile before he turns disappearing behind the doors.

My eyes heavens up with tears as I try to restrain them from falling.

"Come on my child, get ready. I will drop you off at my in-laws."

Dad's head pop up 5 minutes later into the kitchen door where I was working, trying to divert my mind from my husband leaving for the time.

"Ji, papa ji." I wipe my hands on the tower before running to my room.
