Mehu's Pov ~
"So that's how it's gonna be, any queries.?"
"No sir." The employee in the conference hall said altogether.
"Good, you are dismissed." I look towards the exit as the employees exit the room.
"Wifey, bored.?" Hridey voice had me turning back in his direction.
His was working on his laptop and head tilted my way.
Maybe I did really took a good decision joining the company. He seems more relaxed and the tension from his shoulders disappearing.
"Yes, quite bored." Yes, I don't know much about taxes and all and it's quite boring topic.
"Would you like to visit the main kitchen of the hotel.?" Hridey suggested.
We are currently in the main hotel of the branch chain. Their first hotel. The suggestion quite exciting with promised fun that I couldn't ignore it.
"Definitely. Yup!! Ready."
"Okay, come on."
The lobby of the hotel seems something out of fates, to beautiful and magnificent. The touch of rich heritage mingling with the modern era.
The people chatter and the light atmosphere and them going through their day to day regular things enchanted into the walls of the hotel swingling themselves.
"Come on." Hridey opens a back door as we enter the dimly lit corridor. The place warm...
It's just a place, I will follow him and his steps even if it's hell destined at the end of the path.
I look at my husband as the dim lights shadows parts of his features turning them sharp.
I pass him a smile as he turns to look at me. He smiles in return taking hold of my hands as we walk past a warm furnace area as the cooks turns food in the stell utensils over the hot burning gas.
We pass another door as we enter the main kitchen area...the cooks murmuring and shooting orders.
"Sir." The head cook says respectfully as he come towards us.
"Princess Mehu." He bows down, strengthening and conversing with my husband for a while.
I turn looking at the place, it's beautiful just like the interior of the beautiful lobby.
Distant charters of whispers and utensils clicking together. The fragrance of Indian masalas evident in the morning chill.
I still remember the way the employees welcomed me..as the wife of Hridey Shekhawat, their boss.
Flowers petals scattered around the entrance the of the main hotel of the chain. Employees holding flower bouquets as Hridey helped me get down from his g-wagon.
The welcome which made me shy and proud because I was being loved the same way my husband is, by his employees.
I gaze at Hridey. He hands pocketed as he talks with the chef with an easy expression. I smile gazing at his face of easyness.
How did I landed such a good husband?
Thank you my fates for such a blessing.
Hridey gaze locks on me, and I have been looking at my husband all this time.
Blushing, I gaze down and could picture his soft smile as he look at me as the head chef speaks in his ears.
I mentally head slap myself. Idiot!
