School was almost over, and so was my life as a teenager.

Virginia was due in August, and she needed me more than ever.

I had one week left of school now- and I hoped I could come back next year.

The night after my past ended, I felt new.

Refreshed.

It left a wound, open and raw.

But it healed.

And seeing my unborn child and my girlfriend made it heal faster.

Camilla says that I am drowning a part of me that needed help.

But she's stuck in the past.

I'm in the present.

The future.

Over time, Virginia and I shopped for clothes for our little girl.

She was going to be beautiful.

Blonde hair blue eyes.

Beautiful.

We had a name picked out already. 

We were set. 

Everything.

Aria Giuila Rossi.

That's her name.

My beautiful Aria.

The shining hope of my life.

Virginia and I lay on the couch, side by side.

Ready to take on the world.

Our little family. 

I kept my hand on her stomach.

"She's going to be so beautiful, Virgi". 

"I know it, Nicco". She says, her beautiful smile showing.

"Are you sure she even likes me, Serena?" Marco asks, sitting at his desk in his room.

"Yes. I am positive. Unless her asking you out is an illusion". I assure.

"The black or the blue?" Marco asks, lifting two shirt options.

"The blue". I vote.

"Mhm". He says, putting it on.

"If that date's at seven, you should probably look at dinner reservations, given that it's 6:30". I suggest.

"Already found a place. But she lives on the other side of town. So, I should probably go". Marco explains.

I smiled. 

I was so happy for him. 

Genuinely.

He's been there for me and now I'm here for him.
