the mermaids turned to sirens,
trying to lure me into the water.
It's the dark side of life, the dark side of Neverland
The transformation was slow,
but so fast at the same time
one minute a kid and the next all grown up
fantasy stays in your sleep
The world got brutal
or maybe it always was
adult life is not easy,
and I use daydreams to escape
Pirates disguised in suits
trying to kill with boredom,
I hope I will be strong
enough to keep myself
