85th century, space, Poulsen Galaxy. A cargo ship is on a deep space voyage. Transporting good from all over the galaxy to a nearby space station where it will all be offload its cargo and it will get delivered to the surrounding planets spread out throughout this galaxy.

The Tardis materialised inside one of the ship's airlocks'. The Doctor came strolling out Of The Tardis in his stone three piece suit accompanied by a white shirt with a dark brown tie along with some suede black boots and a light grey overcoat. "Oh, a space ship." He said that as Sally and Larry followed him out, shutting The Tardis door behind them.

"When are we?" Larry said.

The Doctor took a look around this small room they were in and quickly deciphered that they were in an airlock chamber "We are in an airlock chamber." He said as he walked over to this touch pad where he placed his hand on the pad to open the airlock door. Where a humid steam hit them all as they walked into the red hot engine room.

"Wow. Why so hot in here?" Sally asked.

"This is the ship engine room that's why it's so hot in here. And to answer your question Larry judging by how hot it is in here I would say we're in the 85th century because this engine is a dead start engine. If my history is correct and it normally is. Dead start engine are used in deep space travel for cargo ships." The Doctor said as he walked up to this massive ferneries that fill the whole room. He walked up to the window in the ferneries and looked inside to see a bright red ball of fire that was the dying star with flares streaking out of the star in all different shades of red. Some bright red indicating it was extremely hot to the point it would vaporise anyone who touched it. The lightest red flares were nearly pink and these would leave someone with nasty burns and that was it. The whole start shimmered because of how hot it was but it was also surrounded by a massive forcefield as the star was incredibly unstable.

"That's why its so hot in here." He said as he stepped aside from the window so Sally and Larry could have a look. When they saw the start they were in complete shock as they had never seen anything like that before on their travels with The Doctor.

"How is that even possible. How can they have a dying star in there ship like its nothing?" Sally said.

"Oh, it's very normal for this time especially for deep space travel. It's a very good source of power that if kept right could last for centuries." The Doctor said as he started to take a look around the engine room.

"How do you even get a dying star into a ship? Surly it would kill you?" Larry said.

The Doctor was loving these questions they were asking him "Oh, you are two are on fire at the moment. These questions are just awesome, It's pretty awesome how they do it. They build the ferneries around the dying star so they can get it all contained before they start building the ship around it basically. The whole ship centres around this room." He said as he found another door that the far end of the engine room. He used the touch pad to open the door like before. This gave them access to the rest of the ship. "Come on let's take a look around." The Doctor said as he stepped out into the hallway of the ship closely followed by Sally and Larry.

As they were walking thought the hallways of the ship they finally encountered there first member of the crew. Officer Astra was walking down the hallways running her daily checks on the cargo and when she saw The Doctor, Sally and Larry she looked completely shocked to see other people as the only people she has seen in the last five years of their deep space voyage was the rest of the crew.

She touched her built in ear piece by pressing down on her ear "Captain we have a problem."

"What is it?" Captain Nova said back.

"I think we have some stow aways onboard." Astra said. This surprised Nova as much as Astra.

"Are you sure Officer. We haven't stopped in years?" Nova said

"Yes Captain. I am looking at them right now." She said.

"Alright. I'm sending Casper to assist you. Detain them. Now." Nova said.

She pulled out her phaser and started storming towards them with authority in her footsteps "Stop where you are and put your hands up!" she said. Causing everyone to stop and raise their hands.

"Okay but I think this is a bit of a hostile welcome." The Doctor said.

"Doctor I think you should just shut up." Sally said. He looked at her in complete shock that she told him to shut up. No one had ever told him to shup up.

"No one's told me to shut up before. That's a new feeling. I don't like it." The Doctor said.

"Well get used to it when we have guns pointed in our faces." Sally said as Larry barged past them both and said.

"Why don't you both shut up and let me do the talking."

"Yes sir." The Doctor said back sarcastically. He tried not to crack a smile whereas Sally sniggered as she couldn't help herself.

"Hay. I'm Larry and this is The Doctor and Sally." Larry said before The Doctor interrupted him

"I would wave but you currently have a gun pointed at us."

"We're not here to hurt you." Larry finished saying.

"Your stow aways. You must have had a pretty good hiding place because I run cargo checks every rotation." Astra said.

Sally looked at The Doctor and said "What's a rotation?"

"It's a space way of saying a day." He answered back.

"We only just arrived here. We're not stow aways. We're just passing thought." Larry said. Astra looked at them all as Lieutenant Casper came charging into the hallway saying.

"Astra how did these people get on board?"

"I don't know. They're saying they just arrived." Astra answer back.

"That's not possible. They must be stow aways." Casper said.

"Believe me we have just arrived. I can show you our ship if you don't believe us." Larry said desperately trying to convince them.

Before anyone had the chance to say anything else all of a sudden the ship went into red alert. They had no time to react to this before the ship got hit by these red hot rocks that were surrounded by fire came smashing into the ship sending everyone flying all over the place as the ship got bombarded by them.
