"I don't think I can do it. I can't stop this star from exploding into a black whole." The Doctor said as ran his hand down his face.

"Doctor." Sally called out. He ignored her as he was desperately trying to think of a way to stabilise the star. "Doctor." Sally called out again. This time he heard her and walked back over to the door completely deflated. "What's wrong?" She asked as she saw the disappointment in his face.

"I can't do it. I can't stabilise it. Without power it's impossible." The Doctor said.

"There must be something we can do?" Sally said. The Doctor looked at her and before he could say anything Larry and Astra came running around the corner.

"Sally thank god. I knew you would be here." Larry said as she turned around. Her face full of disappear. "Sally where's The Doctor." He asked. Sally didn't say anything she just stepped aside so that he could see The Doctor's face on the other side of the door. "What's going on Doctor?" Larry asked.

"I can't stabilise it. Not without power. It's not possible." The Doctor said.

"What about The Tardis. Can't we use it to help stabilise the star?" Larry asked.

The Doctor shock his head. "No. It would take everything The Tardis has and maybe even more. It could even destroy it for all I know." He said. Another one of the Daegon's roars echoed through out the ship. Sally, Larry and Astra all looked back into the dark hallway. The Doctor finally opened the door. As it shut he smashed the touch pad up with his elbow. By The Doctor doing this it would seal the engine room shut and deadlock seal the door. There was no way of getting back in there now. "No way of getting back in there now." The Doctor said.

This is when he noticed that Casper wasn't with them. "Where's Casper?" The Doctor asked in concern. Larry and Astra looked at each other. There reaction saying everything. "Dam it." The Doctor said.

"I'm sorry Doctor. There was nothing I could do to save him." Larry said in shame.

The Doctor looked at him and said. "No Larry don't do that. Don't start blaming yourself because it's not your fault. Do you understand me?" Larry looked at him and nodded his head. Even though he still felt the guilt for not being able to save Casper.

"The Daegon is going to slowly take us all if we don't do something so, Doctor what's the plan?" Sally said.

The Doctor answered back. "The only play we have left. To get this ship into the cold start but how can we do that without any power? I need to think but I have no time. Come on." He walked pasted them all as he headed into darkness.

When the others caught up to him. The Doctor was deep in thought. Running through different solutions that could shift the ship's course without power. As they all walked back into the bridge The Doctor said as he lent up against the control system. "Right come on what have we got?"

Astra said. "We have nothing. Nothing on this ship works anymore. So, the answer to your question is we have nothing."

"Wrong." The Doctor said with confidence.

"You just said we have no way of stopping the dead star engine from exploding without any power." Astra answered.

"Yeah I know. We don't have power to stabilise the engine but, we don't need power to shift the ships course." The Doctor said.

"You're talking about the escape pods aren't you? We can use them to chance the ships course." Sally said.

The Doctor snapped his fingers and pointed at Sally and said. "Bingo. We use the escape pods thrusters to nudge the ship just a little bit so it slams right into that cold star before the dead star explodes and the Daegon kills us." The Doctor looked at Astra and said. "How many pods have you got on this ship?"

"Four. Two on the port side and two of them on the starboard side of the ship." Astra said.

"That should be enough. All we want to do is shift the ship just a tine bit." The Doctor said. His sonic started beeping meaning that it had downloaded all the data from the ship. The Doctor rushed over to the data point, knelt down and pulled his sonic out. "Good. About time." He said to himself. He started looking through the data as he wanted to find out who put the Daegon on the ship.

"Is now really a good time to be doing that Doctor. Don't we have more important things to do like not die?" Sally said.

"This is to do with out situation Sally." The Doctor said before he looked at Astra and continued to say. "What's Armets?"

"A company that supplies food thought out the galaxy but I don't know how this has anything to do with out situation." Astra said.

"Because I think this company put the Daegon on the ship." The Doctor said.

"Why would Armets put a Daegon on our ship? It could have been any of the suppliers that we get our stock from. Why them?" Astra asked.

"I don't know why they would but there is something about it that doesn't seem right. Can you show me there containers?" The Doctor asked.

"I can but, what about you know the plan to save our lives." Astra said.

The Doctor smiled and said. "Don't worry about that. I have two people that can make sure this ships gets to the start standing right next to me. They'll sort the ship while we go and check out the cargo containers."

Astra said back. "But they no idea how any of the escape pods systems work. I should be the one doing this."

Larry replied with. "Don't worry about that. Believe it or not this isn't the first space ship we've been on. We'll figure it out."

"Yeah don't worry about us. You go with The Doctor. If he thinks this Armets is important then he's probably right." Sally said. The Doctor smiled at them both before pulling something out of his blazar pocket. They were ear pieces. He had three. One for each of them. He said as he put one inside his ear. "I'm giving you some ear pieces so that we can stay in contact at all times. Be safe. Both of you keep your eyes open the Daegon could be anywhere." Sally and Larry both placed an ear piece inside one of their ears.

"Same goes for you." Sally said before they both left the bridge.
