Author's Note

  Hello, hello! It's been sooo long, besties. First and foremost, how are you? I'm sorry I've abandoned you but I've been busy with uni and rehearsals, a bunch of really thrilling stuff for me. I've been cooking lmao.

  And just as I've been cooking irl, I've also been cooking here. There are a couple stories (Demons and Invisible String) that I've been left on hold because this idea hit me like a truck and I had to write it down. This story is my big passion right now and I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I've been loving the process of writing and crafting it. As usual, let's go through the basics.

1. This is a Steve Rogers x OC story.

Etc. This story is about Victoria and Steve. I hope you love her so much, just like I do.

2. I do not own the Captain America & Infinity sagas or characters, besides Victoria Carter. All the rights to MARVEL Entertainment & Studios, Disney, etc.

3. This follows the events since 'Avengers' to 'Endgame', focusing on Steve Rogers' life.

4. The chapters for this story are long. I think these might be the longest chapters I've written so far, and it's been so fun! Sorry in advance, I think there's one chapter that's 12k words more or less. I was inspired, nothing we can do about it.

5. Not a smutty story. Sure, there might be intimate scenes here and there, but nothing over the top.

6. I'm not accepting translations or adaptations for this story at the moment.

7. Strong language. Sure thing, Steve will call out people bc of the language, but I bet y'all a pizza that man cusses every now and then. And these people have lived in New York for a very long time, so...

8. TW: violence, war, ptsd.

9. English is not my first language. There might be spelling or grammatical mistakes here and there that I will correct eventually.

10. There are some tiny details (dates) that will change in order for things to make sense (ages) but they will remain the same most of the time.

11. Along the chapters there will be songs references, lyrics that spoke out to me and that I believed could go perfect in the chapters to highlight the characters' way of thinking and the situation they're living. therefore, i used them as inspiration. credits to all the singers and songwriters!

12. I encourage you to use the "Rockwell" font as you read this, it fits the aesthetic very nicely.

  And that is it! I really do hope you love this story, my beloved and little baby Victoria, and all the relationships I've crafted in between the Avengers family. Like I told you, it's been so thrilling to write this story (I'm writing this last bit with a smile on my face lol) and I'm so excited to give this book to you.
