Oliver Queen walked into his living room with his suit on to see his mother,sister and Walter watching the news as it played the same sketch he had given the police a few days ago of the green hooded vigilante
"This guy gets more air-time then the Kardashians right?" he laughed as he pointed to the tv and faced turned away to face his family.
His sister gave him a weird look as she tilted her head to the side. "five years on an island and you still know who they are."
"I've been catching up,it's nice to see how much our culture has approved while i was away." he smiled as he aimed the ending of his sentence towards Walter.
His mother not catching his dig spoke up to ease the tension. "but this city used to be different people used to feel safe."
"Aww what's the matter mom,afraid we're gonna be next." Thea sighed as she gave her mother a cruel smile.
As Moira stood up getting ready to leave Walter changed their subject of conversation. "do you have any questions about today Oliver?." as soon as he spoke Oliver turned to look at him. "it's a simple proof of life declaration,you just read out a brief prepared statement to the judge and then your death in absentia judgment will be voided."
"It's fine Walter,i've been in a courtroom before."
As soon as the words left Oliver's mouth Tommy's voice rang in the room. "four times by my estimate." he continued speaking as he stepped in the room. "you know there's the DUI,the assault on that paparazzi douchebag,stealing that taxi which was just awesome by the way." he shot Oliver a big smile before he looked at Moira. "and who could forget peeing on the cop."
"I wish everyone would." Moira sighed as she gave Tommy a look.
"I'd hang but we're headed to court." Oliver smiled at Tommy as he patted him on the shoulder.
Tommy just looked at Oliver like he said something stupid. "i know that's why im here,my bestfriend is getting legally resurrected i wouldn't miss this for the world!" he smiled at everyone in the room.
Oliver just smiled at him as he turned to look at his sister. "okay,what about you?"
"Uhh,i think the first four times of you in court was enough for me." she replied as she gave him a fake smile and walked past him.
Oliver just continue to stare forward as he sighed. "fair enough."
"Mrs.Queen,your cars ready." everyone turned to look at the door as John diggle's voice entered the room as he stood under the door archway.

Oliver,Tommy,Moira and Walter were walking down the stairs outside the courtroom after just finishing bringing Oliver back from the dead legally as his mother turned to face him. "now onto the offices everyone is waiting to meet you there."
