Chapter 21: Kiss & Goodbye

"So you want them to reconcile?"

Lisa nodded her head.

"And you're willing to be the mediator and throw some party like they didn't smack their fa— no he smack his face up like a pulp,"

"Chaeyounga, they're still friends and a teammate, how will they fight against opponent if they both have beef with each other?" Lisa crossed her arms while Eunwoo and Chaeyoung are dumbfounded by her thinking. She suddenly appeared on their veranda while the couple are having a peaceful sunny day, she decided to ruin their lovey dovey.

"Lisaya, do you know why Taehyung acted that way?" Eunwoo asked the most obvious question but the girl seemed to ignore it.

"I do, it's me,"

"Oh," They were quite surprise that she knew all along, "I thought you didn't know,"

"That's why I want to do something for them to reconcile," "I talked to both of them and Jungkook seemed to be good with it," Lisa explained.

"And your ex? What did your ex told you about this?" "You know he's the problem here," Chaeyoung raise her a brow, not wanting her pawn be completely defeated.

"Well," Lisa averted her eyes.

"See, i'm out of this plan, it's never gonna work if that obsessive fuck will still try and kill Jungkook," "I'm putting restraining order at this point," Chaeyoung set her priorities down.

"I'm fine guys,"



Silently listening from the staircase, Jungkook finally completed the attendance of the gang. He was about to enter the convenience store when he heard Lisa's loud voice coming from the couple's house. He saw them having conversations while he pretended that he wasn't there, sliding both of his hands on his pocket as he listens.

"It's been three days, i'm okay," Jungkook said.

"Your bruises are barely fine, stop lying stupid," Eunwoo said. To witness his brother being bullied by his own captain is something else, it cannot get out of his head.

"I just received a message from the coach anyway, they want us to come to our senses and they want Lisa to come to the office with us today," Jungkook sighed afterwards.

"What about it? Are they going to put all the blame to her?" Chaeyoung asked but she saw Lisa standing up willingly.

"I'll come with you,"

"Lisa!" Chaeyoung catches her attention.

"Chaeyounga, part of me thinks it's my fault, my ex is a jealous one he hurt my friend so just like them I want them to have a resolution," Lisa explained, "If talking to them will be the best course to this problem then so be it,"

Lisa return her eyes on Jungkook who seemed to agree with the rest of them but not to Lisa, "Let's go Kookie,"

Lisa went past their friends to get next to Jungkook who doesn't want her to come but couldn't voice it out. She's persistent to make things right even if she's not the fault in the matter. Taehyung and him are the problem not her.

He looked back at their friends who are worried for her, he sighed before walking out with her, "Let's go,"

The ride going to the office with her is a bit awkward. Not with her though just him. He understands that they want to mediate about their quarrel but to involve her is unnecessary. Normally his ride to Busan takes more than his expected time but surprisingly they arrived five minutes earlier than normal. In fact he was so hesitant to come that he drove slow, but ended up being on time.

Once they arrived, they unbuckle their seatbelts and hop out of his car. Even their way towards the entrance felt so soon he felt the need to stop her by grabbing her arm.
