Then, a spaceship, mostly hidden by the clouds heads towards them. Everyone marvelled at the sight of it. A portal from the ship opens and things start falling from the clouds. They look like giant mushrooms and stop mid-air, hovering and forming a pattern in the sky.

"It's Centipede," Eddie said.

The SEALS sprint off to their attack positions and Eddie starts to yell instructions from the fence.

"Remember what we talked about! Kill each centipede from the head down!! If you hit it in the middle, it will break in two!!!" Eddie yells and Gaege jumps off the fence and joins in.

"You guys just gonna double it if you keep hitting in the middle! Hit it again, you get 4! We don't want that!!!"

Unfortunately, the SEALS got a bit cocky, ignoring them and aiming for the night sky. Then they came. Giant centipedes just like from the old arcade came to life. The centipedes now evolved from the 8-bit look to more realistic creatures. They are terrifyingly huge.

"Jesus Christ, they look so fucking real. Eddie, punch me." Gaege said. Eddie didn't reply as his attention stuck to the sky.

Also, unlike the game that existed on a solely 2D Plane, this is real life and 3D. The creatures attack from all angles. The SEALS start shooting upwards and the light cannons emit laser blasts that resemble the game. One of the blasts hit a centipede in the head and it's pixelated! William smiles widely as his creation is working well.

Even Gaege couldn't contain his excitement as he watched the light cannon blast cause the centipede to pixelate. "Holy cow, this is actually working!" he exclaimed, watching as another SEAL hit the head of a second centipede with a precise shot. The creature pixelated and vanished in a flurry of shimmering particles.

Then a SEAL fires up at a centipede and hits it in the middle and it splits in half.

"NO! NO!! NO!! DIDN'T WE JUST SAY DON'T SPLIT THEM IN HALF?! JUST AIM FOR THE HEAD!!"

"The mushroom-things. They're get in the way!"

"SHOOT THE MUSHROOM!!" Eddie starting to get frustrated. "It's just like the game. If they get down to the ground, it's gonna get really bad. REAL QUICK!!!"

"Sergeant Duff! 12 o'clock!" William screams as he sees a centipede get on the ground and head towards the SEAL but it's too late. The centipede chomps up Sergeant Duff and scurries quickly off into the bushes. Everyone is in shock, shaken up. Eddie steps back a bit in disbelief and William's hands start to shake, mentally praying for Milky in his arms right now.

"They ate it..." Gaege mumbled under his breath, processing what he just witnessed.

The remaining SEALS continue to shoot skyward, freaked out by just what happened. Another centipede streaks back and forth across the sky down towards them like a vicious flying shark. More SEALS got eaten by the centipede and the situation rapidly deteriorated. The remaining SEALs were underprepared for the intensity and speed of the giant centipedes' attacks. They struggled to adjust their aim to hit the creatures in the head, as the creatures moved erratically through the air.

Eddie soon can't stand it when mistakes and death keep piling up. He pushes the SAS officer aside and sprints towards the battleground.

"Eddie! No!" Gaege screams.

Eddie grabs the light cannon from one of the SEAL and starts firing at the centipede. Piece by piece Eddie blasts it, just like in the game and as it dies, the centipede's body pixelated and disintegrates into a shower of glittering fragments, the remnants vanishing as they hit the ground. The SEAL whose cannon Eddie had commandeered stared in shock, but Eddie paid him no mind, continuing his onslaught against the oncoming horde.
