AOMINE SHOUTED IN FRUSTRATION...
"Ugh, seriously, I'm so bored! I might as well be watching paint dry. The only problem in my life is how to pass Advanced Algebra and how to entertain myself. It's like a never-ending cycle of boredom and frustration. I swear, if boredom was a sport, I'd be an Olympic gold medalist by now." He groaned, flopping down on the stage with his hands behind his head.
Kise shrugged, plopping down beside Aomine. "Right? We always defeat our opponents too fast. There's no thrill in basketball anymore."
"Then just quit," Kuroko suggested flatly.
"Kurokocchi, that's too harsh! Can't we just express our frustration about being too bored?" Kise whined, looking at Kuroko with mock anger, his hands on his knees. Kuroko couldn't help but notice how Kise resembled a sulking child who wasn't given a chance to play one more game.
"You and Aomine, not us. I don't really care as long as we win," Murasakibara chimed in, munching on a bag of Calbee chips. He reached over and swiped another bag from Midorima, who scowled but didn't bother to stop him.
A group of friends passed by the court, chatting excitedly. "Have you seen the new Spring High National Pamphlet? Tooru Oikawa got piped up! He's still as handsome as ever!"
Kise's ears perked up at the familiar name. "Oikawa!" he shouted suddenly.
Aomine raised an eyebrow. "Do you even know him? Why are you randomly shouting? Have you lost it?"
Kise ignored Aomine's jibe. "I hope you fail tomorrow's exams," he muttered before continuing, "Oikawa is a fellow model friend. I heard he plays for a famous powerhouse. Aoubi? Aoebai? Something like that."
"Aoba Johsai," Kagami corrected, chewing on a cheeseburger.
"You know them?" Akashi asked, intrigued.
"I know a little bit about them. My friend in Osaka is obsessed with them. He always goes on about how they're a volleyball powerhouse team," Kagami explained, still munching.
"Really?" Kise asked, genuinely curious.
"No," Kagami replied with a smirk.
"Oh, okay!" Kise responded earnestly.Midorima sneered at Kise's gullibility. "He really believed that?"
Aomine sighed, closing his eyes. "We're hopeless."Akashi sat silently at the edge of the stage, deep in thought. His eyes were closed, and his usually composed face bore a slight frown. The rest of the team's banter faded into the background as he focused on the problem at hand: their boredom.
He opened his eyes and glanced at his teammates. Aomine lay sprawled on the stage, Kise was still animatedly talking about Oikawa, and Murasakibara was engrossed in his chips. Kuroko was quietly observing, while Kagami kept munching on his cheeseburgers. They were all incredibly talented, but their lack of challenge was starting to affect their motivation.
Suddenly, an idea struck. Akashi smirked as it hitted him like a bolt of lightning. His eyes lit up with excitement.
"Everyone, listen up," Akashi called out, his authoritative voice cutting through the chatter.
The team turned their attention to him, sensing the shift in his demeanour.
"I've been thinking about our situation," Akashi began, "And it's clear that our current challenges are not enough to keep us engaged. We need something new, something that can reignite our spirits."
"What do you have in mind, Akashi?" Kuroko asked, intrigued.
Akashi stood up, his presence commanding the attention of everyone in the room. "Another sport. Something different from basketball, yet still competitive. It forces us to adapt and It will be a new way to challenge ourselves."
Kise's eyes sparkled with excitement. "Another sport?"
"Yes, rest assured Kise, this will not hinder our responsibilities as basketball players. This setup is just temporary. Does anybody have ideas on which sport we'll temporarily play?" Akashi requested, members of the Generation of Miracles looked at each other, even Momoi was interested regarding Akashi's risky decision.
"How about Soccer? It hugely reminds me of Giant Killing."
"Kagami... as in the anime GK?"
"Yeah, got a problem with it?"
"No. I just think you're a child."
"WHAT DID YOU SAY?""Which sports are there except for Basketball?"
"How about Tennis?"
"I don't really care."
"Rugby?""Volleyball." Kuroko suggested, raising his left hand in turn of everyone's attention towards the small, blue-haired boy.
"Volleyball? Do we even have a Volleyball Club in Teiko?" Aomine mentioned, reading one of his Porno Magazine
"As far as I know, we don't have one." Midorima answered, inspecting his lucky charm for today, a succulent plant in a pot.
"Well then, we should just create one." Momoi interrupted while seizing Aomine's porno magazine and tossing it aside with a flick of her wrist.
