"rehabilitation training?" you and zenitsu asked simultaneously, both of you tilting your heads in question as aoi nodded her head. the four of you—tanjiro, zenitsu, inosuke, and yourself—were gathered in a large room designated for rehabilitation training. both you and zenitsu just started rehabilitation training, since you were gone yesterday and zenitsu used a little bit more of his time to heal up
"yes, that's right. firstly, over there," aoi pointed towards sumi, kiyo, and naho, who were standing beside a futon. "sumi, kiyo, and naho will help loosen up your stiff muscles."
you all looked over to see the three girls ready to assist, their faces showing a mix of determination and kindness. the futon was laid out with cushions
aoi then directed your attention to another part of the room where kanao was seated at a table with several cups filled with medicinal tea arranged in front of her. "then, there's the reflex training. the cups in front of you are filled with medicinal tea. your objective is to splash your opponent with the tea, but if you can hold your teacup down while your opponent tries to lift it, they can't move their teacup," aoi explained.
kanao sat quietly, her eyes focused yet gentle, ready to oversee the reflex training. the cups, though simple, represented a challenge that required both mental and physical acuity.
"the final one is whole body training. to put it simply, it's tag," aoi explained, pointing to herself. "kanao and i, aoi, will be your opponents."
zenitsu raised his hand hesitantly. "i have a question..."
"is there something you don't understand?" aoi asked, her voice tinged with concern.
zenitsu shook his head, then stood up abruptly. "no, it's not that... come over here, tanjiro, inosuke." inosuke crossed his arms defiantly. "not going."
zenitsu's patience snapped, and he screamed, making everyone flinch, "i'm telling you! just screw it and come over here!"
you, feeling slightly left out, asked, "what about me? do you want me to come with?"
zenitsu turned to you with a sweet smile, "it's okay, y/n-chan! just stay here!"
with that, he dragged a bewildered tanjiro and a reluctant inosuke outside.
aoi watched them leave, her eyebrow raised in confusion. "what was that about?"
you chuckled dryly, shaking your head at their shenanigans. "no idea... they're always up to something."
