Chapter 28- REMI

I stand near Lana's bed who has non stop tears flowing down her eyes, I feel bad for her.
"Lana, you want to say something?"
She nodded her head and the doctor kept something to her hand, the fingerless hand, I hope she will get well soon.
"You can leave"
"But-"
"I am from investigating department, Lia Williams"
The doctor nodded his head looking at her badge, which is definitely a fake one, he moved out and I turn to Lana
"I am sorry for whatever happened"
I said and she shook her head and wrote
"She will come for me again"
"Who?"
"The doll keeper"
She wrote and my breath hitched looking at it, the doll keeper, Doll Master.
"She will free everyone is what she said"
Her tears fell on the paper as Lia sat beside her
"Lana, I want you to tell me what happened that day to you, you went missing, and now you are in this condition"
She didn't write anything further and I asked
"Why are you scared of Ariella"
There is a kind of calm, that shouldn't be there, she got up trying to scream and threw things around
"Lana stop"
I said holding her shoulders and she pushed me back again going completely feral, she shook her head vigorously and her whole body quivered in her blue gown she is wearing
"Lana"
"Lia don't"
I said pulling her away from Lana and locked the door as soon as I thought the doctor will come
"Did Ariella do this Lana"
"Are you crazy Remi why would Ariella do anything like this"
Lana threw things again and her voiceless scream echoed no where but the pain and look on her face says something else
"We are taking her"
I said looking at the door, where two doctors are trying to look inside.
"You aren't seriously saying this"
"I said we are taking her"
"Taking her to where"
"Where she was found"
She looked skeptical but nodded her head and I sent a message to Vaughn who must be waiting outside now
"We are risking it Remi"
"It is worth it"
I look at her who is scared and crying non stop, I go to her but she moved away making me take out the chloroform.
She didn't get anymore time to react as I threw ger body down the window where Vaughn is standing
"You really are fucked up in your head, I swear to God Ariella and Annie will hate you to core"
"Who will say that to them"
"Me"
"You won't"
She scoffed and got down the window and I followed her after it.
"What are we going to do about doctors?"
I said getting down the pipe and look at Vaughn who is holding that girl and his eyes shifted to her legs, which has skin recovering, her forehead had a mark of something written too.
"Maya will handle them, I think Gareth agreed too"
"Yeah"
We three sat in and I look at Lia who is lost in her thoughts.
"What are you thinking Lia?"
"You know my home screen is the childhood picture of the four of us"
Childhood picture? I think it is the same
"The one with you holding dolls?"
"Yeah, the way the other girl from TKU reacted by looking to it is the same as Lana reacted to it now"
"What do you mean?"
Vaughn said as his gaurd is driving us to somewhere Lia told him.
"Wait a minuite, stop the car"
He stopped the car and I looked at the location here, it is the same fucking direction we all had came too.

"Are you sure we are driving to the correct location?"
"I am sure her body was found here itself near some closed dungeon, and it will be the best place to because this place has less population and no cameras"
"Lia"
"Yes?"
"This is the place we were there the night Lana was found and much worse..."
"Much worse?"
Vaughn asked as I trail off to the night where I found Ariella in the water, she was having blood on her face, she wasn't in her senses either.
"Nothing, lets just go"
I said getting in and reality kicked in.
"Show me the picture"
"What picture?"
"Home screen"
I look at the picture carefully, the girl from TKU she definitely doesn't know Ariella until the initiation time, there isn't anyway she could have met Annie and Lia in childhood.
Why would she be scared of the picture where they are kids, and she hasn't known them by that time.
"Send this to me"
I crop the pictures into a single one, and made sure the doll isn't seen.
"Remi I think the same too"
Vaughn said making me smirk at Lia.
But something isn't sinking in, I bet she reacted to Sophia's picture, but if sophia is to be alive she would be grown up.
A dead body doesn't stay for long, unless, unless it is kept in a chemical or ice factory.
"Lia"
"Yes"
"We will be looking into Sophia life"
"Okay"
I look at her in shock as she agreed.
"You agreed? I mean for real?"
"Yeah, but don't do anything that will make them hate you, much worse Ariella still thinks you are using her and Annie thinks you are a liar"
She said pointing at both of us and kept looking at her phone time to time.
"Why are you checking your phone"
"I think Ari and Annie are out to find things by them self"
"You are helping them too"
"They both are my friends before anything, Ari and Annie have all the rights to go cruel and evil and yet, they decided not to"
"What do you mean?"
"All the things that have happened to them if it was to be happened to someone else, they might be out for revenge, murder and killing, cruelty, but Ari kept everything away and Annie never harmed an innocent"
A wave of guilt rushed over me and I stare at Vaughn who has his robot expression on but he pushed his glasses up his nose and looked out the window, I don't know whats happening with him and Annie
"We are here"
Lia got out looking at the place and held Lana making her sit on the wheel chair.
"Will you move"
"You don't have to be rude"
Lia said to Vaughn's gaurd who shook his head
"She will wake up soon"
After what seemed like some fourty five minutes Lana gained her consciousness.
