School is a blur. Extracurriculars are a whirlwind. Sitting on the couch at home is even busy. Life moves so quickly, and everyone always has somewhere to be and something they need to be doing. People are able to adjust, though, and New Yorkers seem to be the best at adjusting from one situation to another without any time in between for just doing nothing. Life begins to blend together and suddenly, you are surrounded by everything all at once.
However, she didn't want to be surrounded by everything all at once, She wanted something constant, something she could focus solely on, for however long, just to clear her mind and not have to think about anything else.
She found that escape in riding the subway.
