When Ulaz got assigned to begin his new mission helping the paladins continue their work it meant he got to live in the castle of lions; the one thing that completely caught him off guard was that there was another human living in the castle, a young woman by the name of (Y/n). He thought that he knew about everyone living in the castle, he didn't anticipate another person living in the huge ship. Unlike the younger paladins and Allura, (Y/n) was one of the few people who were kind to him and he found himself drawn to her, she was good company and easy to talk to. (Y/n) liked Ulaz from day one after he was able to come out of the healing pod Shiro put him in, they quickly became friends and within about two months he began courting her. It felt strange to be courted by someone rather than dating, but (Y/n) took Ulaz out on a few dates as a way of showing him one of the dating cultures from Earth; overall, their relationship was passionate and loving.
One day when the paladins got back from destroying a top secret galra empire base everyone gathered in the green lion's hangar because Pidge was able to retrieve a strange device. Pidge looked over the strange round device while wondering what it was exactly, she'd never seen anything like it before and neither had anyone else. When (Y/n) and her boyfriend, Ulaz, were called to the green lion's hangar they both rushed over to where everyone was gathered. Since Ulaz used to be undercover in the empire Pidge wanted to know if he knew anything about the device, she figured that he must know something about it. Lance and Shiro made room for Ulaz and (Y/n) at the work table Pidge set up, all of them burning with curiosity about the strange device.
"Since you were undercover in the galra empire for so long, would you have gotten any information about any devices?" Pidge asked Ulaz curiously when he laid eyes on the round device that sat on the table.
"I was aware they were being made, but for what purpose I'm not sure nor do I know what each one looks like." Ulaz replied thoughtfully, kneeling down so he could get a better look at it; ever since he read the basic information of the devices Zarkon wanted to be made he'd been fascinated by them, he never thought that he would ever get to see one in real life.
Pidge quietly hummed in response as she looked over the device more carefully, unfortunately she wasn't paying attention to where she was touching and accidentally pressed a button, causing a bright beam of light to shoot out of the device and hit (Y/n) and Ulaz. Everyone had to cover their eyes so that they wouldn't go blind, each of them jumping out of the way so it wouldn't shoot them too. After a few moments the light died down and everyone uncovered their eyes, then the device powered down since it'd finished doing what it was made to do. Each of the paladins and Coran were speechless when they looked at (Y/n) and Ulaz, at least they found out what the device was used for. It took Ulaz and (Y/n) a few moments to realize what happened even though the others already figured it out, and what they saw confused them.
"What the- Is that my voice? Am I a man?!" (Y/n) screeched in shock, feeling her now completely flat chest with her, or rather his, hands whilst glancing down at his lean body.
"It appears that I am now female." Ulaz stated whilst looking down at herself, feeling a little unnerved yet curious about her new body; it wasn't every day that someone got to temporarily become the opposite gender, she didn't even know why someone in the galra empire would make a genderswapping device.
"Pidge, tell me that you can fix this." (Y/n) spoke desperately, looking at her with pleading eyes.
"I'm not seeing any other buttons, so I'm assuming that the effects are temporary. If not then I'm sure Lotor might know something." Pidge told (Y/n) in an attempt to prevent him from panicking, Ulaz seemed to be taking the incident better than her boyfriend.
"Great, now I'm stuck being a guy for who knows how long." (Y/n) said sarcastically, gesturing down at his very unfamiliar body, he just hoped the effects would eventually wear off.
"Perhaps we should go to our room so that you may cool down, my love." Ulaz suggested when she stood up, delicately resting a hand on one of his shoulders.
"Yeah, we might as well." (Y/n) muttered under his breath, wishing that he and Ulaz hadn't of been standing so close to the device.
Ulaz took one of (Y/n's) hands with one of her own after she stood up and they both left the green lion's hangar, that way they could hopefully pass the time faster by doing something. Everyone watched (Y/n) and Ulaz leave the room together, hoping that (Y/n) was going to be okay considering what his reaction had been when he realized he'd been turned into a guy. Sure, (Y/n) occasionally wondered what it would be like to be a man, but he never thought it would actually happen in real life. During that moment it didn't bother him that he had a cock and a pair of balls between his legs, he was still getting over the shock about his sudden gender swap. Ulaz, on the other hand, was taking the whole situation better than her significant other; her armor remained the same, but her body suit felt a little loose in some areas due to her body's sudden unexpected change.

Once (Y/n) and Ulaz got to their bedroom they both sat down on the bed, not quite sure of what to do in order to pass the time faster. They could always watch a movie or something on one of their datapads, but (Y/n) wasn't really in the movie watching mood. He couldn't help but look over at Ulaz who was the same height as before, but she was much slimmer now, she had breasts under her armor and her hair was much longer. (Y/n) had to admit that Ulaz was very beautiful as a woman, to him she was the very image of perfection and he loved the sound of her deep yet feminine voice. As he looked her over (Y/n) suddenly felt a hot feeling in his lower belly and a tight pressure in between his legs, it was unlike anything he'd felt before in his life.
