"Leonor, Gavin. Hurry up or we'll be late." Dominic shouted at his children. Today is his father's 65th birthday, and he wanted his grandchildren to visit him and their grandma. Since it's his father's special day, Dominic allowed the twins to have fun at the Martinez' old house.
"Dad, I still can't find my favorite shoes." Gavin Martinez pouted his lips. Gavin took after his papa, both are beautiful and very charming.
Dominic smiled at his adorable son. "You have many shoes in your room, love. How about you pick a new one since it's your grandpa's birthday today." He consoled Gavin. The little boy still has a frown on his cute face.
"But I want to wear the same shoes as my papa. I saw him wearing those before going to the kitchen." The eight year old complained.
" Gavin, you'll be left behind if you don't go wear different shoes right now, and you can't always copy papa, you idiot." Leonor sternly said to his younger brother. She was standing at the top of the stairs. With a cute pink dress that didn't go well with her poker face.
Gavin's face became distorted after hearing what her sister said. Dominic hurriedly hugged his son after seeing him almost crying. He lifted him up and rubbed his back when he heard some hiccups and sobbing coming from Gavin.
"Stop being so harsh on your brother, angel." Dominic helplessly said. He watches his daughter gracefully walk down the stairs.
"And that's why he's so spoiled, it's your fault Daddy." Leonor said while both hands were on her hips. She talks like a grown up.
Dominic could only agree with Leonor. "Alright, it's daddy's fault. Now, why don't you go fetch your papa in the kitchen so we can now go?"
Leonor complied and walked towards the kitchen. She saw her pretty papa cutting some fruits and putting them in a small container. She thought maybe those are snacks for her and her twin brother while they're in the car.
"Papa!" She called, adding some sweetness to her voice. Her papa's very pretty and kind, and she loves him more than her daddy.
Elliam turned around and saw his little angel in her pink dress. "Oh, my little angel. You're so beautiful." Elliam complimented. Since he's done doing the snacks, Elliam put the containers on a paperbag and carried them towards her daughter. He held on Leonor's hand to walk with her out of the kitchen.
"Papa, Gavin was crying because he said he wanted to wear the same shoes as yours." Leonor grumbled to her papa while walking. She was grumbling at how annoyed she is with his brother's fussiness.
Elliam chuckled, "Your brother act his age, while you act like a responsible older sister."
"But we're the same age. He's so weak papa, he'll get toppled easily, and he's tired while doing nothing. I'm worried because I'm not always with him to protect him." Leonor murmured.
Elliam got silent for a second before smiling, "Angel, your brother is very strong. Because if he's not strong, he won't survive the day you both were born. You see, his heart is very weak. He wasn't breathing when he came out of your papa's stomach. So be good to your brother."
