Today's our first date officially. The one in the restaurant does not count.

We both agreed on it.

So, this is our first date together as a couple officially.

I could not stop smiling the entire week. Every time I think about that day, it brings a smile to my face.
Eithan even teased me about it asking me what's all that about when we met together yesterday. And I lied of course.
If only he knew. I would have been dead already.

Eithan is my best-est friend. Not that it's gonna last long.
But yeah for now he is. He even has some accidental goofiness slip in front of me, that's how close we are.

I remember the time when I had gone out to play pool with Adam and he did not talk to me for an entire week for not taking him. That was till I treated him with a strawberry pastry.

He is so Uncle Josh but only towards me. If Uncle Christian ever gets to know about this...
Oh, I am sooo ready to waste all my money just to get a glimpse of his expression...

I kept checking the time as I was waiting outside the theatre for Nia to come.

Today's a movie date.

The movie was selected by Nia but I bought the tickets.

And yes, she chose a thriller movie.

And here I was thinking we could watch a romantic movie together where I would have booked the whole hall and then have dinner in a nice restaurant and then we will go to a hotel and I would finally propose to her.

But nah gotta hold my horses there... It's just our first date. I can not scare her, not after trying for so many years.

Its 7:28 and she is nowhere to be seen yet.

I kept checking my messages and then the time to make sure she did not leave a message but nothing at all...

I had brought her a bouquet of purple lilies aka her favourite.

Since its our first official date, I even dressed up. Did get a little help from my Camilla for this.

But surely I did not wear a suit... I feel too stuffy wearing them and also it's too extravagant . I wonder sometimes how dad even survives wearing a suit most of the time.

It's 7:35 and she is still not here...And also did not let me pick her up from the parlour and said she will come here on her own.

I mean it's okay but she has to let me be a gentleman sometimes too.

She had said that she had to go for a quick parlour session as the exam stress had supposedly made her look homeless.
Well, I don't get it. She looked like an angel that just like she always does... She is so pretty that even those models would deem less.

Her, doe eyes which has a rich brown touch to them forces me to get lost and melt at them. Her sharp nose makes me want to bite them, I know it's weird but I still want to. And how do I even start describing her lips. I had always thought that they would taste sweet but the fact that they would make me numb with its sweetness, I was not prepared for it. Those little tastes of desire and longing I had tasted that day made my head spin. She is the epitome of beauty. Every time I fall short on words to describe her beauty. If angels live among the humans, she is for sure one of them.

And speak of the angel, Here comes my girlfriend, The Nia Harper and soon to be Volkov wearing a short beautiful satin red dress accessorized with a pair of golden heels and platinum earrings and also a bouquet of lilies?!

What is she doing with a bouquet of lilies?!
I swear if someone has gifted this to her on her way her here, I am sooo going to kill them. I am not going to let my hardwork go to waste. She is only mine.

"Chill, puffin these are for you? Don't make a face like you are going to murder someone on our first date.", she said as soon as she reached me with an eyeroll and handed me the bouquet.

Wait, the bouquet is for me?! But-

"Before you go all manly saying that boys don't need flowers... Let me tell you that maybe boys don't need them but men do. And also I was passing by this cute flower shop and this bouquet of lilies reminded me of you for some reason and so I brought it for you.", she explained herself.

I never thought that receiving a bouquet of lilies would make me this happy.

I just couldn't stop grinning at the bouquet.

Maybe the fact that Nia bought this for me is making me so happy.

"You should stop grinning at the bouquet like that, it's making me jealous.", Nia exclaims with a pout.

How the fuck am I supposed to survive the night when she is being sooo cute. Omg!

I give her a sweet, short kiss on her cheek.

And suddenly realised that I did not give her the bouquet I had brought for her.

And so I handed her the bouquet with a sorry and another kiss on her other cheek this time.

And the smile she gave me after that is worth to die for. Her red lips curved upwards as she looked at me and then at the bouquet.

"You always know what to get me", she said.

"I always know", I said with a low chuckle and took both the bouquets to keep them in the car and then we both went inside.

I must say. She has some killer choice.

"Wasn't the movie good?", she asked as we headed to the washroom as she needed some retouching of makeup.

"It was awesome, honestly. I loved it.", I said.

"Yeah, it had good reviews.", she answered.

We soon reached the washroom and I pulled her into a quick kiss before letting her go inside, smearing her lipstick.

I have wanted to do that since the moment I saw her come wearing it.

As Nia was about to speak, she was interrupted by a very familiar voice.

"Nia? Niko?", the voice asked. And we both were scared to turn around as we knew whose voice that could be.
