I was forced to come to this date by Jas and Sophia. Rather dragged here by them.

And they took the next table to spy on us. Disguising themselves.

So, the sudden invasion of Nia on my date left me surprised.

They did not tell me they were calling her.

I eyed them without the other two noticing and they signaled that they did not know anything about it.

The whole date was fun.

I could see Nia getting angry slowly as Brittany kept trying to talk to me and that amused me.

She should really get her feelings in check. She sure does like me even though she does not want to admit it.

This little incident gave me the courage to keep pursuing her.

I know she will come to acknowledge her feelings for me very soon.

Or else, why would she get jealous of me dating other women when she was the one to reject me in the first place?

This is such a sight to see!

Brittany soon got irritated with all this drama and left furious.

Can't blame her, Nia was such a sight to witness.

I need to go on more dates just to see this jealous side of Nia.

This freaking girl seriously has my heart in her hands.

And as curiosity took over me.

I asked her, “Now tell me why did you do that?”

"What?" Nia answered.

"Why did you interfere in my date with- whatever her name is?" I asked, repeating myself.

"I don't know, I just wanted to", Nia answered looking out the window behind me as if she was embarrassed.

You were not so embarrassed just a while ago, sweetheart.

You are down more badly than you can even think.

I guess I will wait until you acknowledge your feelings for me.

“Since I could not complete my date, how about you do her part?” I offered her.

She willingly went and sat where- that girl was sitting.

And we resumed eating our food.

For the first time in a while, we were not so awkward with each other.

As we talked freely about how our lives were going, how she was doing, what she plans to do in the future, and a few of her experiences in Britain.

Mostly she was talking and I was listening very intently trying not to miss anything she said as I registered them in my mind.

It felt as if yesterday was just a bad dream.

We laughed and talked over food.

She seemed a lot freer today for some reason.

So, I asked her,“ Do mind telling me what's the reason behind your happiness today? Just curious.”

“I just feel a lot freer and happy. Can't helpsh itsh.” She said as shoved a spoonful of ice cream in her mouth and her words became hard to understand.

She eats ice cream as one swallows their drinks. She just swallows them down like nothing. I would probably get a brain freeze if I did that.

After we were down we went to my car, completely forgetting about the other two.

“Hey, uhm, so today was this a date? Just asking” " she asked, nervous about my answer.

“Do you want this to be?”, I asked her back.

I would rather not count this as our first date.

I would book a cruise and have a private date in the middle of the sea as Nia loves the sea. That would be such a perfect first date for us. I could even arrange for a candlelight dinner.

“I think, yes” Nia's answer shocked me that I nearly choked on air.

“Really”, I asked her in disbelief. “You really want to?!”

“Why can't I?”, Nia asked. She seemed offended by my remark.

“No! No! it's just you had rejected me just yesterday”, I said to her.

“And? Now! Listen here Puffin. If I want this to be a date, then it is. You only gave me the choice to choose and now I won't let you take it back. And also right now my brain is again not working, so, I am listening to my heart”, Nia said.

Before I could say anything else, she said, “Don't question it, please. I have been trying to listen to my heart lately. And I think I should. It's been helping me a lot.”

There has been a lot of development since yesterday, that it feels so surreal.

I think I can still keep my hopes up for my chances.

I hope that I can.

I parked the car at the side of the road to avoid Uncle Christian's cameras as usual.

Nia went back home.

As I watched her go until she disappeared into her house.

I need to call Jas ASAP.

So, I rang her number.

It went through at once.

“Remembered about us now?” Jas said through the phone.

Oh right, I had left them in the restaurant.

Totally forgot about them. But I don't feel sorry for them anyway.

“Anyway, I need today's girl's number,” I said.

“Why?” Jas asked surprised.

“I think the jealousy trick is working,” I said smiling to myself as I remembered what happened earlier today.

“Oh, okay loverboy. I think I get it.”, Jas answered and I cut the call.

Rude? I know. It's fun to do that with her.

There was a ding sound from my phone and I saw that Jas had already sent me her number.

Wow, fast service from a Russo.
Also, she is loving the drama so, I guess I can rely on her right now.

Miss Nia Harper just wait and watch, how I make you fall head over heels for me.

Can't deny it but Jas is a mastermind truly.

This is getting exciting.
