The human could hear all of their steps getting louder and louder. He needed to take action, and quick. He decided to climb one of the shorter trees around the bloodflower tree, still wearing his leaf camouflage, to avoid both the zombie army, as well as the vampires leading it through the tree tops.
Unlucky for him, the vampires were thinking of organizing the army at the bloodflower tree, so he had to stay invisible for a longer time.

🐞 "Why doesn't this USELESS tree make more bloodflowers alredy, I'm hungry"
🍅 "Shut the fuck up, you're not the leader, you wouldn't be the one to eat them anyway. Let's think of a good way to use the blood moon tonight, you wouldn't want to disappoint Him, would you"
🐞 "Fuck you, I'm still hungry, and I need to punch something; I still can't get used to that blood moon's effects"
🍅 "Just punch one of the zombies, you'll feel better"
The vampire went for a punch, but the zombies devoured him before he could do that
🍅 "Idiot. We didn't need him anyway"
🔴 "Hey so, what should we do with this army tonight"
🍅 "I'm still thinking, but maybe we could invade the Flame Canyon, and steal some magmaleaves from the orcs?"
🔴 "Alright then"
The vampire leader growled, and the zombie army began to run, as well as the other vampires followed him.

The human knew too well who they didn't want to disappoint, but he managed to keep his cool and stayed hidden from the army.
Finally, they had left, and he got down from the tree; heading back to his base in the Healbloom Field.
When he got inside, a hand covered his mouth, and his torso was secured by an arm
🍒 "Well lucky me, I finally found that pesky human's house" - a voice spoke from behind.
The human panicked, and tried reaching into his pouch
🍒 "Oh no no no, you won't do any tricks on me" - she said, as she grabbed his pouch, leaving him unarmed.
The human decided to surrender his hands in the air, and let her finish talking.
🍒 "You know, it still amazes me how a human can survive for so long, on his own, out here in the forest, and not wanting to become an over-natural like the rest of us.
That's very remarkable, I'll give you that, but that doesn't excuse you for what you did to my friends - remember? The ones you blew a megacure against, and left to die before sunset?"
🗣️ "What do you want; you can't kill me here, you don't have your fangs"
🍒 "I know, but being a vampire's not the only reason I'm still alive, you know? I know how to kill someone, even inside the Healbloom Field. If I wanted to kill you, I would've done it alredy. I'm here to propose a truce against Him"
🗣️ "Him? What makes you think I'll be of any good against Him? You said it, I'm just a human"
🍒 "There's a reason you're still a human, and not a skeleton; you have some great planning skills, and we want you to help us against him, and finally free ourselves from his reign"
🗣️ "And why would I do that? You're all vampires, you'll eat my blood at the first chance you have. Besides, that 'reign' only affects you vampires, I'm perfectly safe out of His influence over here"
🍒 "Are you sure about that?" - she said, as she pointed to the eye-invasor that had grown inside his base
🗣️ "... What? How did that grow in here?"
🍒 "The Healbloom Field has a limit to it's magic inhibition, and His influence is getting stronger, strong enough for that to happen"
The human felt how her grip was far weaker that at the beginning, and he used this opportunity to push her to the trunk, freeing himself.
He proceeded to grab her arms and tangled them.
🍒 "Ow, unhand me you brute"
🗣️ "Why would I do that, you'll go and tell others where I live, that's a big nope for me"
He tied her with a vine rope he made, and put her on a trunk.
🍒 "Fine, you can tie me, I would do that if someone got in my house too. But you should keep an eye out for the eye-invasors, as that one is very close to maturing alredy"
🗣️ "Yeah whatever" - he said, as he unrooted the eye-invasor, crushing it with his shoe
🍒 "Think about that alliance, you could be safe from vampires from now on"
🗣️ "By becoming one, isn't that right?"
🍒 "... Not necessarily ... But if you want to ..."
🗣️ "That's a no from me, you'll never make me into an over-natural, specially not one that can't even go out during the day"
🍒 "Your loss"
🗣️ "Well, I don't trust you guys for an alliance anyway, and I still don't care about his influence, it's been a while since I've seen an eye-invaded, so just like the goblins said, scram"
🍒 "Come on, there's gotta be a way to make you cooperate; what about unlimited bloodflowers"
🗣️ "... I'm not a vampire, idiot"
🍒 "Oh, right. Hey, goblins? Why were you out there in the middle of the blood moon?"
🗣️ "None of your business, now leave"
He kicked her out of the Healbloom Field, hoping to never see her again.
She untied herself after becoming a vampire again, and left through the tree tops.
He knew he couldn't stay there any longer. He should begin to look for a new base. He decided to sleep through the remaining blood moon until the next day.
