The human had a armful of leaves he collected near the Music Plains, when he got spotted by the newly transformed vampire.
🦊 (Man I'm so hungry. I'm sure she won't mind if I have a snack on my way) - he thought, as he saw the human.
The human was frozen in thought, with his heart pounding so much he couldn't hear much of his surroundings, and he dropped the leaves. He had seen aggressive werewolves before, but never a vampire with such a feral look. His mind raced; fight or flee? He knew that fleeing from a vampire at this close range was futile; they were too fast and agile.
Before he could finish the thought process, the vampire attacked, so the human swiftly dodged and picked up a long, sturdy, spear-like stick on the ground. He tried reaching into his pouch but he was out of megacures, it seems the only option was to fight him.
The vampire jumped again, jaws aiming for the human's throat. The human blocked with the stick, using it to push the vampire's fangs away from his skin. He then used this opportunity to kick him in the stomach, but it didn't have much effect, as vampires can quickly recover from a lack of breath; that only pushed the vampire away from him. The ghost arrived at the bloodflower tree and saw them fighting in the distance, and so went to help, still in possession of the squid.
The fight continued in a similar fashion as seen thus far.The human's stamina was starting to run out; after dodging and counterattacking so much, he desperately needed a moment of rest. His sweat mixed with the rain only made the vampire hungrier. The vampire lunged again and managed to scratch the human's abdomen with his claws. The human grunted in pain, but his eyes caught sight of something falling from the vampire's grasp: a blood cherry.
🗣️ "The red megacure!" he gasped, still panting heavily.
🦊 "Don't talk," - the vampire hissed - "stress will make your meat stiff."
They were both panting, but the fight went on. The human started remembering how the werewolf was describing the blood cherry, and quickly thought of a way to use it. In a quick action, he rolled and grabbed the blood cherry, and threw it at the vampire. His wounds were healed, but his vampirism wasn't cured. However, he was stunned from the healing. At that moment the ghost arrived, and threw the squid's ink into the vampire's eyes, leaving him temporarily blind. The werewolf had finished collecting leaves and left them inside the cave, when she saw the situation as well. As she arrived, the human had tied the vampire with some vines. She recognized her brother despite his pale skin.
🐺 "I'm sure this was always your plan when you accepted the truce between the two clans, Andrew"
The werewolf's brother was still stunned from the blood cherry.
🗣️ "Well that's a first. So this is your brother eh? Why hasn't the stun wore off, its been more than 3 minutes alredy; megacure stun doesn't last that long"
🐺 "What did you do to him? If you threw a megacure at him, he should be a human, not a vampire"
🦊 "He didn't..." - the vampire said, still stunned - "he threw one of my blood cherries"
🗣️ "Blood cherries? That's how you call them? Well you're not going anywhere, so tell me more"
🐺 "And also, it seems you were so right about werewolves being better than vampires. You couldn't kill a human." - she looked at the human - "No offense"
🗣️ "Don't worry. Now then, start talking"
The vampire tried to move, but the stun hadn't wore off yet. Better to tell them rather than staying silent for longer.
🦊 "I don't know much about it, the vampire that transformed me told me she made them by feeding a megacure sapling with a bloodflower's blood"
🗣️ "Interesting enough, we should record that once we make the paper"
🐺 "Let's bring my brother to the Wishing Path"
🗣️ "He tried to kill me! Let's kill him instead"
🐺 "I'm sorry he tried to eat you, but he's still my brother. I suppose turning him human with a megacure could work, before turning him to a werewolf again"
👻 "How lame. You're no fun"
The human thought about a different aproach.
🗣️ "... Fine, let's bring him to the Wishing Path, but he should stay a vampire. He could help us against the clan that followed you"The werewolf carried her brother, still tied with vines. The human went back to the cave and brought the bloodflower jar he had collected the day the clan was founded, and the ghost left the squid on a small puddle inside the cave. The werewolf dropped the vampire on the Wishing Path as the human cached up to them.
🦊 "Hey, how can a human be so good at fighting? I see you picked a good clan, sis"
🐺 "Thanks, and I guess I don't need to tell you to leave my clan alone"
👻 "By the way you suck at fighting. Of course you'd loose if you only used random attacks. Get good"
The human and the werewolf chuckled. The human gave the vampire the blood jar, hoping the vampire could stay on the vampire clan while helping them.
All three went back to the cave. Thankfully, the vampire didn't notice where it was located.
