Blind date-Natty

I was sitting at my table at the restaurant where I was supposed to be meeting my blind date, a hour already went by and I was still waiting the waiter kept coming by asking me if I was ready to order and I saw him walking towards me again. "Are you sure you don't want anything?" He asked me for the 10th time "I'm positive, thanks for asking" I said giving him a small smile to hide my irritation he nodded and walked away. I grabbed my phone and called my friend "hello?" The voice said as they picked up "yeji the girl you sent me up with hasn't even arrived and she's not even responding to me" I said sighing "well maybe her phone died or something try again" she said and I rolled my eyes "I got stood up and it's fine I'm just gonna go after I eat but your paying for my meal" I said and heard her sigh "alright, send me the receipt" she said and hung up. Once I hung up I noticed a girl looking at me and she was absolutely stunning, once I realized I was staring to long I looked away awkwardly and began cuddling with the menu.

I had been waiting for an hour for my date who never showed, u was debating on leaving when I noticed a pretty girl sitting a few tables away she ended up noticing me and staring back but looked away, "I hope I didn't look like a creep" i thought to myself and grabbed the menu infront of me. A couple of minutes went by and I saw the girl go into the bathroom so I decided to make my move "excuse me waiter" I said as the waiter walked by "yes?" He asked turning towards me "could I get a bottle of red wine?" I asked him and he nodded, when he came back with the wine I took it and sat at the girls table when I saw her coming I leaned back in the booth so she couldn't see me.

I was walking back to my table when I noticed a glass of wine sitting in an ice bucket maybe my blind date finally arrived , when I sat down I noticed the girl who was looking at me earlier she looked even better from up close "I'm natty, I hope you don't mind I brought you some wine" she said introducing herself and pointing to the wine "I'm y/n and thanks for the wine" I said giving her a small smile we sat in awkward silence for a bit before she spoke "so what's a pretty girl like you doing here all alone?" She asked leaning on her arm "well I was supposed to meet my date her but she stood me up" I said and she shook her head "it's their lost but at least you can spend the rest of your evening with me" she said but the end sounded like a question. I panicked mentally was she flirting with me? "I'd like that" I said and she smiled and flagged down the waiter.

"Would you like to order?" He asked as he came to the table "yes, I'll have steak and mashed potatoes with gravy" I told him and he nodded writing it down "and for you?" He asked turning to y/n "I'll have a burger and fries" she said and he nodded walking away "so why were you alone earlier" y/n asked taking a sip of her wine "oh well I'm in the same situation as you I got stood up but maybe it was for the best seeing I'm having dinner with someone as pretty as you' I said giving her a wink "well I guess it worked out for both of us" she said and I nodded. Once the food came we both began eating, when we finished we began casually talking "so what do you do for work?" I asked her "I'm a real estate agent" she said "wow that's cool" I said genuinely surprised "what about you?" She asked me this time "ah, I'm a singer" I said and her eyes widened "really?" She asked me and I nodded "I should've known someone as gorgeous as you..wow" she said still looking at me with shock "thanks" I looked at my watch and saw it wad getting late.

I noticed natty looking at her watch and she looked at me "it's getting late I'll take you home" she said and called the waiter over "yes" he said standing at the table "I'm ready to pay" she said and he nodded bringing the receipt she grabbed her wallet and I stopped her "you don't have to' I said taking my wallet out and she stopped me "you can pay for the next one" she said winking at me and handing the man her card "have a nice night" he said as we got up "you too" we both responded. Once we got outside the restaurant natty looked at me "which way do you live?" She asked me "that way" I told her and she nodded "great I'm headed that way too let's go" she said and looped her arm around mine.

*Time skip*

Natty p.o.v
We were standing outside y/n's house "well here we are" she said looking at me "yeah" I said not really wanting to part ways "oh before I forget let me give you my number" she said and I pulled my phone out giving it to her she put her number in it and handed it back to me "good thing you rembered now i can call you to shedule our next date" i said and she smiled "sounds good, i had a good time tonight" she said giving me a soft smile "me too, hopefully we can do this agian soon" I said and she nodded "well I should head inside" she said and I nodded "yeah,but before I forget" I said and stepped closer to her giving her a kiss on the cheek "goodnight y/n" I said and began walking away "goodnight natty" she said disappearing into her house.

Once inside I grabbed my chest this women really made my heart race with just a kiss on the cheek, I can't wait to see her again, I thought to myself.
