The night was breezy and cool, with wind rustling through the trees and the distant hum from the city that creates a low background murmurs. John and his friends were cruising through the breezy night as they let the Demon's raw power roared through the night. They feel the thrill course through their veins as they race down through the deserted highway.
"This is insane!" Jack said as he shouldered John, a wide grin pasted on his face.
"I know, right?" John replied as he shifted the gear and floors it. The engine's growl intensified, and the car surged forward, pressing them back into their seats.
"Just be careful, John. We don't want any unnecessary attention." Anne said while clutching into her seat in the back.
John glanced in the rearview mirror, catching Anne's worried eyes. "Don't worry, Anne. I got this."
As they sped down the highway, the city lights began to fade, replaced by the open road stretching before them. The sound of the engine was a symphony of raw power.
As they approach the interception point, John instantly slams on the brakes, as well as Old Man Joe.
[SCREECHES]
John saw vehicles blocking up ahead. His eyes widened as he realized that this roadblock was not ordinary.
Through the comms. "Guys, we have a problem." John said, his voice tense up.
Liam squinted at the blockade. "Who are they, this doesn't look good."
John tightened his grip on the steering wheel. "I don't know, but be ready. Just in case things go shit."
John rev the Demon, letting it roar at the blockade with a few men who aimed their EMP guns at the car. Ezekiel stepped forward, flanked by Ryan and his men. Nina gave me a megaphone to Ezekiel and stepped forward.
"John." Ezekiel called out, his tone carrying an edge of menace. "Step out of the vehicle, slowly. Turn off your engines, and toss your key at us."
John's heart pounded as he exchanged glances with his friends. "How did he know my name? Who is this guy?"
"You don't know him?" Liam said. "That man is Ezekiel Blackwood, one of the richest and most powerful businessmen in the world. He owns the "E.C Corporation" company, and he is also the mastermind when it comes getting rid of gas cars."
"How did he find us here?" John asked his friends.
"I don't know for sure, but something tells me that this isn't going to end well." Liam said, with a worry tone on his voice.
"Step out of the vehicle, John. If I ask twice, I'll let these gentlemen open fire at you and your friends." Ezekiel demanded .
John doesn't reply. Instead, he clenched the steering wheel tightly and continued to rev at them. The engine's roaring echoed through the night, the sound of a defiant. A growl of a beast, ready to strike at its threat.
Jack, sitting in the passenger seat, glanced at John. "What are you planning?"
John's eyes were fixed on Ezekiel. "Just trust me."
Ezekiel's men, armed and ready, began to spread out, closing in to the Demon. The tension was palpable, and the air seemed to crackle with imminent threat of violence
"John, this is serious," Old Man Joe said to John through the comms of his truck. "If you're planning something, plan fast."
John revved the engine, the sound deafening roar in the still night. "I have a plan." he said, his voice is calm but determined. "Get ready, guys."
