Stumped!

The sun shined brightly through the campsite where Hoppo and Gerbo stayed.

Hoppo opened her eyes and stretched her 4 bug hands. She yawned and then got up. The tent made rustling noises while doing so.

She stretched once again, like a cat this time, though. She shook her head and opened the tent zipper. Sunlight poured through the opening. Hoppo closed her eyes and slowly hopped out of her tent.

She looked around for any sign of Gerbo but found none. Some leaves danced through the warm air. Unlike the day before, today was much warmer.

"Well, at least today is warmer."
Hoppo said. She hopped over to a tree and stood up on her hind bug legs. She reached up and picked out two large red apples from the tree. How convenient! she thought to herself.

She got back on all six limbs and put the apples in between her bug wings. She hopped back to the camp site and saw Gerbo outside of his tent. Rubbing his eyes with his two upper bug hands.

Gerbo seemed to have spotted Hoppo and waved at her slowly. He looked like he had just woken up.

"Hey Hoppo... what do you have there...?"

Gerbo asked. Of course, he was talking about the apples Hoppo had found for both of them.

"Apples, you want one?" Hoppo asked

"...sure...!"

Bugbo had fallen asleep under a tree again somewhere in the woods. He flicked his left antennae. And got up. He raised his left bug hand and felt his long cactus colored bow tie. Oh, it wasn't a dream. He thought to himself.

Walking along the woods. The nice warm breeze of the new day hit him.

He had planned to meet up with Gradient Joe today. Both had wanted to discuss something important.

As he walked outside of the woods and at the side of a rocky cliff, he had spotted Gradient Joe waiting for him. Wonder how long he's been there...

"Hey there, Gradient Joe."
Bugbo greeted him.
Gradient Joe waved at Bugbo and took out his notepad and his pencil.

'Nice bow tie, Bugbo.'

It read. Bugbo looked down at his bow tie, and his toothy grin widened a bit as he smiled.

"Thanks." Bugbo said happily.

Gradient Joe lowered his notepad and turned to the next page, and began to write another thing down.

'Are you still addicted to... you know... eating.?'

It read. Bugbo was taken aback by this and shrugged.

"What? No, I got over it. It was only once , Joe."

Bugbo said in a calm voice. It was clear he was trying to calm Gradient Joe down, but Joe didn't want to hear any of it.

Gradient Joe quickly turned to the next page of the notepad and wrote again. Before he could finish Bugbo, put his bug hand on Gradient Joe's shoulder.
