Jungkook excuses himself from the main hall, the weight of Elder Lyra's words and the unfolding revelations pressing heavily on his mind. He finds a quiet corner and takes a deep breath, closing his eyes. Suddenly, he feels the familiar stir of his wolf, Black, wanting to communicate.
BLACK : (in Jungkook's mind) Jungkook, we need to talk. There's something important I need to tell you.
Jungkook finds an empty room and closes the door behind him, ensuring privacy.
JUNGKOOK: (mentally) What is it, Black? You sound serious.
BLACK: (seriously) I've been trying to connect with Y/N's emotions, to understand her better and help you protect her. But something is blocking me. It's like a barrier I can't break through.
JUNGKOOK: (frowning) A barrier? What do you think it is?
BLACK: (confidently) I'm certain that Y/N has her own wolf. She just doesn't know it yet. Her wolf is dormant, probably due to the locking of her powers.
JUNGKOOK: (surprised) Y/N has a wolf? That makes sense with everything we've learned. It must be part of her true heritage.
BLACK: (eager) Yes, and I'm sure once her powers are fully unlocked, her wolf will awaken too. That's why I can't connect with her emotions completely - her wolf is protecting her, even subconsciously.
Jungkook chuckles softly, finding some levity in the situation despite its gravity.
JUNGKOOK: (teasingly) You're really taken with her, aren't you, Black? I saw how much you loved it when she smiled at us. You were practically wagging your tail.
BLACK: (grumbling) You're more baby than me and I do like her. She's strong, and she makes us feel... different. Protective in a way we've never felt before.
Jungkook laughs, the sound echoing softly in the empty room.
JUNGKOOK: (smirking) Admit it, Black. You're a big softie when it comes to Y/N. I noticed how we both turned into babies around her when we were alone in her room.
BLACK: (huffing) She has that effect on us. There's something about her... It's like she sees right through us, past the alpha exterior.
Jungkook nods, his expression turning serious again.
JUNGKOOK: (thoughtfully) We have to protect her, Black. We have to help her unlock her powers and awaken her wolf. She's going to need us.
