The ancient library is a labyrinth of towering bookshelves, cloaked in the mystic shadows cast by the moonlight filtering through the stained-glass windows. Dust motes dance in the beams of light, creating an otherworldly atmosphere. Each corner of the library holds secrets of bygone eras, and the air is thick with the scent of old parchment and hidden magic.
Y/N and Jungkook are deep in their search, their eyes scanning the rows of ancient texts and forgotten scrolls. The silence is broken only by the rustling of pages and the occasional whisper of their movement.
Suddenly, a manuscript tumbles from a high shelf, landing at Jungkook's feet. He picks it up, examining the aged, leather-bound cover.
JUNGKOOK: (excitedly) Y/N, come look at this.
Y/N hurries over, her eyes widening with curiosity. Jungkook mind-links the rest of the group, his voice urgent in their minds.
JUNGKOOK: (mind-link) Guys, come over here. We found something important.
The boys gather around, their faces illuminated by the soft glow of the moonlight.
JUNGKOOK: (opening the manuscript) It's a very old manuscript. Look at this.
The manuscript reveals secrets about the Moon Goddess and her powers. Jungkook begins to read aloud, his voice resonating through the silent library.
JUNGKOOK: (reading) "Every soon-to-be Moon Goddess possesses a unique superpower, unknown to anyone. These powers are distinct and cannot be predicted. Alongside these, they inherit abilities from the previous Moon Goddess. A thousand years ago, the most powerful Moon Goddess was born. Her unique powers were those of a warrior. She was fearless, and her wolf had two main colors, representing her moods. When calm, her wolf was white like the moon. When furious or in battle, her wolf turned jet black, the purest black, with eyes like blood-red flames."
The boys listen intently, their expressions a mix of awe and disbelief.
JUNGKOOK: (continuing) "This mighty Moon Goddess sacrificed her life for her mate, her powerful protector, lover, and mentor. Their love was legendary. As she lay dying, her mate chose to sacrifice himself to be with her in the afterlife. The mightiest Moon Goddess's mother, a former Moon Goddess herself, declared that her daughter's soul and her mate's soul would be reborn whenever the world faced grave danger, when no other god or goddess could protect the earth. They would be born to restore balance."
Y/N's eyes widen with realization, her heart pounding in her chest.
JUNGKOOK: (finishing) "It is said that this goddess and her mate will soon be reborn. To awaken someone's wolf, they need a drop of unicorn's tear and a moon flower, which grows only in the dead forest. The ritual must be performed during a full moon in an open field, so the souls of divine wolves can assist in awakening the wolf."
