HIIIIIIII!! So sorry about the delay...I accidentally fell asleep when I began writing this last week, and then got caught up with finals... yada yada yada
Anyways. THANK YOU for all of the crazy support I received from you lovely people. Seriously. A giant thanks to everyone that read and commented and voted. It's truly so unbelievably kind of you. One of my overarching goals for this story was to make it higher quality than a lot of the stories you typically read on here (especially in this genre). I'm glad my hard work is paying off. I hope you continue to support me and this story. Thank you.

Gwendolyn
Even though my mind was very much awake and alert, I had no intention of fluttering my eyes open until I absolutely had to. That's been happening for quite a while now. When my mind would be completely conscious, but my body would be perfectly content staying as it is.
I flinched when a soft voice sounded from above my head.
"I know you're awake, angel. I can see your eyes moving beneath the lids."
I reluctantly peeled my eyes open, propped myself up with my elbows on the voice's hard chest, and looked up at Roman's smirking face. Moving my gaze over to the right, where the setting sun was shining through the window, I plopped back down onto Roman's chest when I saw Caspian's face, nearly identical to Roman's, but each with a softness in their eyes that I couldn't come close to describing.
"We should really get up now, princess," Caspian rumbled, his voice still sleepy, and making my insides flutter at the deep, velvety sound. "We shouldn't be sleeping during the day this much."
"But I don't want to get up," I whined, tucking my face against the bare, pale skin of Roman's chest.
"We know, love, but it really isn't good to sleep during the day at the level we're doing it at," said Roman. I kept my face tucked away.
Suddenly, a strong hand gripped my jaw and pulled it up, which, I have to admit, only added to the growing fuzziness deep in my core. Despite the movement, I locked my eyes away from Caspian's face and stared as far over to the right as my eyes could allow.
"Eyes, pet." Caspian's hold tightened when I disobeyed his command. "Now."
Roman's hand snaked down to grasp at my hips. "Angel, stop bratting. Look at him."
Pouting, I shifted my eyes over to meet Caspian's, trying my best to feign a bored expression.
"Good girl. But you better wipe that look off your face," Caspian told me, his grip on my jaw loosening by just the slightest amount.
"What look?" I didn't know what had gotten into me, or why I was acting this way -- bratting, as Roman had called it, but strangely, I was having...fun?
"Don't play that game with me, little one," he chided. "You need to fix that attitude before I take you over my knee."
Feeling more daring than I probably ever had in my life, I whispered, "What if I want that?"
"Pet, now is not the time." He stroked his thumb along my jaw, brushing along the lower part of my cheek. "I'm only going to give you a warning for now. Two more, and you're getting punished. Understood?"
"Yes, Master." I replaced the expression on my face with one of innocence and submission. "I'll be a good girl." No, I won't.
He let go of my jaw and took my hand in his. "Good. I don't even know why you're being such a brat right now. Do you, Rome?"
"Nope. I've got no clue, Cas." Roman smoothed a hand over my hair, making me look up into his crystal blue eyes. "And I'll remind you, sweetheart, that I don't think your daddy would be very happy if he found out you were acting like this."
