A/N: There isn't any actual smut, but it sort of borders on that, so I decided to include the asterisk just to be safe, and you'll see what I mean as you read the chapter. Enjoy!!

Roman

Atlas's soft groaning was what woke me up. I moved my arm off of his chest in an attempt to make him more comfortable, but he just moved it right back, seemingly wanting it to be there. I couldn't even remember putting it there in the first place. But the guys knew me to be clingy when tired and stressed.

Atlas turned his head to look at me, staying as still and silent as possible, so as not to wake Caspian and Gwen up. He snuck his arm up and firmly placed it on the back of my head, pulling me to him until our foreheads touched.

"I'm okay," he whispered, his breath warm on my face.

I know, I thought, trying to convince myself of it--but I knew I wouldn't be fully happy again until he was back to normal.

He pulled away and leaned back onto his pillow, keeping his fingers weaved through my hair. An intimate silence passed between us as I stared into his hazel eyes, and him into my blue ones.

I looked over at Gwendolyn when I saw a small movement in the corner of my eye. Just barely, I could see her eyes moving around beneath her eyelids. A small smile flickered on my lips as I moved my hand further across Atlas's chest to brush some of her hair behind her ear. She blushed and bit her lip, trying to hide her reaction.

"I know you're awake, angel," I whispered to her. "I saw you blush."

Slowly, she opened her eyes, defeated. Her gaze moved to where Atlas's hand was cupping the back of my head, confusion settling in her features.

"I-I didn't know--"

"There's nothing you don't know, baby," Atlas answered. "Roman just gets clingy sometimes. It's what makes him so cute." He smiled at me adoringly. I rolled my eyes.

"It's okay, Roman," she began, "I get clingy, too, sometimes."

"You get clingy all the time," Atlas countered. "When you're cranky, it's likely because you're not touching one of us."

"Which is why I'm always touching one of you," she explained matter-of-factly. "It makes me happy. All my worries go away, and I can just depend on you."

"That's wonderful, angel," I told her. "That's how we want you to feel." She blushed and held on tighter to Atlas's arm.

"Can we talk more during breakfast? I'm hungry," Caspian, who now happened to be awake, said.

"No, I'm warm," Gwendolyn whined. "I don't want to leave the bed."

"Oh, baby, it'll be okay," Atlas consoled. "It'll only be for a minute, then we can cuddle up at the kitchen table."

"Fine," she said. "I guess I'll just have to endure it."

"That's my girl," Atlas praised, kissing her on the forehead before sitting up in bed. Caspian slipped out to walk over to my side of the bed, Gwendolyn sneaking out after him. She snagged one of my hoodies out of the cabinet and slid it on, wrapping her arms around herself before beginning her trek to the kitchen.

Caspian and I smoothly got Atlas out of the bed and began walking him to the kitchen, letting him sit in the chair next to Gwendolyn before taking our own seats.

Henry, Damien, and Leo all greeted us all with a good morning and then went back to their tasks, Leo's gaze lingering so he could do a quick look-over of Atlas.

Gwendolyn watched Atlas with big eyes before shifting a leg to reach over Atlas's, wanting to settle in his lap.

"I wouldn't do that, Gwendolyn," Leo said. Gwendolyn paused, leg in the air. "Atlas has muscle lacerations in his quadriceps, and you might irritate those more than they already are." She nodded and sank back in her chair, looking longingly at Atlas's lap.
