As we delved deeper into the Forest of Forever, we stumbled upon a hidden clearing.
In the center, a worn leather journal lay abandoned. Lyla, ever the curious one, picked it up, dusting off the dirt."Guys, look at this!" she exclaimed.
We gathered around, curious. The journal belonged to the murder victim. As we flipped through the pages, a dark secret began to unravel.
"It can't be," Dylan whispered, his eyes wide with shock.The journal revealed that our group leader, Seth, had been keeping a sinister secret.
He had been manipulating us, using us to uncover the forest's secrets for his own gain.
"Seth, what's going on?" Elliot demanded, his voice firm.
Seth's expression turned cold, his eyes glinting with a calculating intensity. "You wouldn't understand," he sneered.
"You're just pawns in a much larger game. And as long as you're in this forest, it will keep growing, trapping more innocent souls."
The group erupted into chaos, accusations flying. Seth's true identity and motivations were revealed, shocking us all.
As the argument escalated, Seth vanished into the trees, leaving behind only a cryptic message scrawled on the ground: "The Shadow watches.
And the forest will keep growing, until we're all consumed."
