I opened the front door, and stepped inside, taking my outside shoes off, I slipped my feet into my slippers. I made it all of five steps, before Endeavour rounded the corner.

Flames erupting from his head and hands, that were balled into fists. He looked more furious than I had seen in a very long time, red faced, and teeth gritted.

"What time do you call this, Shouto?!" He barked.

I kept my expression and tone neutral, as I tried my best to act unfazed by his obvious irritation. Truth be told, I didn't have the energy to deal with this tonight, and really just wanted to go to bed.

"I got stuck in traffic."

"For over three hours?!" He asked, looking at his watch, "It's 11:10. I asked you to be here at eight o'clock."

"A friend of mine from UA, was holding a party. He asked me to go along and I felt bad saying no. I just haven't really had a chance to do much normal stuff with all my hero training going on." I explained, lowering my head, "I'm sorry for disappointing you. It won't happen again."

Endeavour still seemed rightfully pissed, but after a long moment, the tension eased from his shoulders, and his flames died down until they were extinguished.

"I understand." He spoke.

The words shocked me, and I just about spoke back, then thought better of it.

"You're young, I get it, but there comes a time where you have to grow up and mature. Shouto, you must put your duties and responsibilities to your family, above all else, and be the man I raised you to be!" He explained, in a stern voice.

I didn't like the way he worded it. Something about it had me a little uneasy, seeing as my reason for coming home this weekend was to discuss important family matters; but I tried to push that feeling aside.

"You may go to bed. We will discuss things in the morning." He said, as he began walking back down the hall, but stopped just outside the living room door. "I expect you to be in my office by seven o'clock, on the dot. Don't be tardy, or there will be consequences. And I expect you to be tidy and in your best suit."

"Yes, Sir." I responded, with a bow of my head. I had no clue why I had to wear a suit, but I really didn't have the energy to argue with him right now.

"And don't wake your mother or siblings. They went to bed hours ago!" Endeavour spoke one last time, as I made my way upstairs.

I ditched my duffel bag in my room, then quietly wandered to the bathroom to brush my teeth and comb the glitter from my hair. That stuff had a way of getting everywhere.

I then went back to my bedroom, and slipped into my futon, pulling the covers up to my chest.

I had concerns about what tomorrow would bring, but the biggest thing on my mind, was Bakugou.

The tears in his eyes, and the way he disappeared before I could check on him after what was said.

I really hoped he was alright, but I'd have to wait until Monday at school to find out.

After lying in bed, staring up at the ceiling for far too long, I eventually drifted off into a peaceful sleep.

My last peaceful sleep for awhile.
