Miliani walked down stairs and saw Steven annoying Jeremiah while he was cooking and Laurel sitting at the counter typing up a book and belly was sitting at the table eating cereal "Good morning Millie" Laurel said "good morning Laurel" the curly haired girl said back.
Jeremiah looked over at her and smiled and she smiled back.

"Oh my gosh belly's gonna be a deb" Susannah said running in the kitchen "I have to go shopping" Susannah said. Miliani walked into the room where Conrad was she couldn't here the rest of the conversation that well "you ok buddy" miliani asked Conrad "never better millie" he said back with a thumbs up. "Hey Millie wanna go shopping with us" Susannah asked "not today I was gonna go to the club with the boys and swim for a little" miliani said "oh ok sweetie" Susannah says.

Miliani was in her room she told Jeremiah to come get her before they leave she was dressed and had her bag ready. She sat at the foot of her bed and started smoking her secret pack of cigarettes. All the sudden Jeremiah came in "what the hell are you doing Mila" Jeremiah's said "nothing knock next time" miliani said "when did you start smoking" Jere asked "just a new thing" miliani said. "Well it's not good for you it could kill you" Jeremiah said "so what if it does nothing worth living for anyway" miliani said "Mila..." Jeremiah said in a soft voice. "Can we please just go to the pool you and Steven are gonna be late" miliani said "yea but we're talking when we get home" Jeremiah said "fine whatever" miliani said then they walked out to jeres car.

Once they pulled into the club Steven went to the kitchen and Jere and miliani walked to the pool.
"Hey I'm gonna go tan" miliani said "oh ok" Jeremiah as miliani walked off.

A hour later miliani and Jeremiah were walking while Jeremiah had towel and belly starts calling them. "Oh my gosh belly" miliani said "wow I didn't even recognize you" jeremiah said. "Be honest do I look bad" belly asked "no your pretty" miliani said "yeah yeah you look good" Jeremiah said. "Do you need help getting up to the room" Jeremiah asked "yes sure" belly said miliani didn't know why but she has this weird feeling of jealousy in her stomach. "Miliani wanna come with"Jeremiah asked "no no yall go I'll stay I need to tan anyways" miliani said.

After Jeremiah's shift miliani and him went home it was just them since Steven was still at work Conrad was not where to be found belly was at tea and the moms were out having fun.

"Ok so we need to talk about the whole smoking situation now" Jeremiah said "no no we don't" miliani said walking up to her room. "Umm yea we do" Jere said following her "ugh whatever it started after my parents died it just calms me down I don't do it very often just when I need a break from my mind" miliani said. "Ok then what about you saying you have nothing to live for" Jeremiah said "Because I don't everyone at school sees me as an orphan they whisper like I can't hear them I was in the car I should have died to" miliani said as she raised her voice and started crying Jeremiah didn't say anything he just wrapped his arms around her and she started crying more.
