Miliani woke up and remembered it was belly's birthday. She put on a hoodie and headed down stairs. She walked in the kitchen and saw Jeremiah sitting on the bar stool so she went and sat beside him. Since yesterday when he caught her smoking he has kept a close eye on her "good morning Mila" Jeremiah said "good morning Jerry" Miliani said.

A few minutes later belly walked in the kitchen "hey" everyone said. Susannah hugged her first and said "there's the birthday girl looking like a vision in floral" then Jeremiah hugged her and told her "happy sweet sixteen belly" then miliani hugged her "happy birthday bells" miliani said.
"Belly button, is getting old finally. Happy birthday" Steven said then laurel hugged her "happy birthday sweetheart" Laurel said.

"Your pancakes are on the table" Laurel said "oh I'm not that hungry" belly says "oh ok how about presents" Susannah suggested. Everyone has gathered in the living room miliani was next to Jeremiah and everyone else was sitting around.
"Ok me first" Laurel said and handed her a wrapped gift belly unwrapped it and saw a book "it's a first addition I got it from a rare book dealer" Laurel said "thanks mom" belly said "turn to the bookmarked page" Laurel said to belly "it's your favorite poem" Laurel says to Susannah.

"Oh yes I remember Susannah teaching us to recite this" belly said "for whatever we lose" belly started "like you or me" Jeremiah joined belly "it's always are selfs we find in the sea" everyone said together. "Thank you I love it" belly said "your welcome" Laurel said "ok open mine now belly" Susannah said and belly opened a box that had a pearl necklace inside "oh wow there gorgeous thank you Susannah" belly said "my mom gave me these pearls for my sweet sixteen" Susannah said. Miliani noticed Conrad pulled something out his pocket then stuck it back in his pocket. "They look great on you sweet heart" Laurel said as Jere started grabbing something's

"Oh I'm next" Jeremiah said and handed her a wrapped blue box "it's a good luck charm to help you pass your driving test"Jeremiah said belly put it in her charm bracelet and shook it "perfect, thank you" she said "think fast belly" Steven said as he threw a bag at her "what" belly said "Steven" Laurel said she pulled out a shirt  "wow Steven I can't believe you actually spent money on me" belly said holding up the Princeton shirt up to her "relax I just didn't want you stealing mine next year when I get in" Steven said.

Miliani zoned out for a minute till Jeremiah shook her "it your turn Mila" Jeremiah said "sorry here" miliani said and handed belly a gift bag. She got belly a dress and some skincare and make up products "wow thank you Millie" belly said "of course" miliani said "ok Conrad how about you give belly her present" Susannah said "oh I forgot I'm sorry" he said "oh it's ok I wasn't really expecting anything anyway" belly said but Miliani could see it upset belly and she wondered why he lied. "Umm wanna go drive before we get Taylor from the bus stop" Jeremiah said looking between belly and miliani "sure" belly said "oh all come to" miliani said.

Once they got the bus station they waited for Taylor's bus to get there. "10 dollars she calls you Jeremy again" belly said "I'm sure she had learned my name by now" Jeremiah said "no that how she flirts with you" belly said that made miliani mad but she didn't say anything. Then Taylor hoped off the bus "happy birthday belly" Taylor said and gave belly a hug "belly you finally took my fashion advice you look like a snack" Taylor said "doesn't she look like a snack Jeremy" Taylor asked "of course" Jeremiah said but he sounded unsure and looked over at miliani. "You know what sounds good ice cream" Taylor said
"Ok let's go" belly said "shot gun" Taylor said

Once they go to the ice cream place belly and got Taylor an ice cream sundae and Jeremiah got a normal ice cream miliani didn't get anything.
"Are you sure you don't want anything" Jeremiah asked her as they sat down "yea I'm not hungry" miliani said "ok belly time to open my present" Taylor said and handed belly a gift bag. Belly pulled out a purple bikini and Jeremiah laughed "what do you like it " Taylor asked  "it's just belly would never wear something like that" Jeremiah said "I actually really like it thank you Taylor" belly said "hey miliani you ok you've barley talked today" belly asked "yea just a lot on my mind" miliani said and Jeremiah and her made eye contact.
