You thanked your friend,both of you sitting on the new furniture bought by your hard work, staring into their oh so gleaming red orbs as you felt the fabric of the couch shuffle. You felt happy in a way you never imagined ever since you've been tucked under their wing.

~If only you refused their offer.~

Your friend chuckled, flapping their wrist at you with dismissal, their head facing your brother who was sat on the floor, playing with his newfound toys your friend had bought. "Don't mention it. I wanted to help you and so I did."

In return you shook your head, tracing their sight back at your brother who was crashing a car on his transformer toy, blabbering out what he thought was crash noises. "If I don't mention it, then I wouldn't be grateful."

~If only you caught onto their lies..~

Your friends eyes maneuvered it's way to you, giving you a side glance as their expression was quite hard to understand. Their gaze caught your attention, making you look back at them in both concern and curiosity. "Is there something wrong?"

Your friend turned their head, staring deep into your own as their lips parted for a bit, letting out a small breath before it curled into a wide smile. "Hey, {Y/N}?"

A shiver went down your spine for some odd reason. Your gut shouting at you to refuse whatever they tell you, but unfortunately you had dismissed it. You let out a hum, Indicating that you were willing to listen.

"We're friends right?" You couldn't help the queasy feeling growing up in your stomach, blooming into one of uncertainty. You slowly nodded at them, feeling as if you've just gotten yourself into something worse than death.

"O-of course! What else would we be?" You  hesitantly replied as you swallowed back the bile forming at the back of your throat, biting at the inside of your cheeks as it was a bad habit you have had developed over the years.

"Then, can you do me a favor?" You parted your lips, about to answer them before loud ringing infected your ears, making you screech out and hold your ears in pain.

The world around you was dissolving, your brother and friend were frozen in place as if they were paused on. You heard a faint voice calling out to you..

You couldn't take it any longer. You kept pulling at your hair, screaming out at the immeasurable pain that had filled your entire body in. Your body felt as if it was burning, melting off even.

You heard a few plops beneath you, making you look down with blurry eyes to see chunks of flesh. Your eyes widened, jumping off from the blurry couch you were in as the world around you switched into darkness.

The sound of flesh falling was still present, making your hands fly to your face, no longer feeling the squishy skin and muscle on it,

Only bones.
