You could finally feel a heartbeat drumming in your chest.

A warm feeling envelope your entire body as you let out a small smirk, completely ignoring the feeling of snow ruffling down on you in small bits.

You stared down to the body of what once was your enemy, observing their bloodied state as their blood decorated the snow below them.

You let out a a small chuckle before it turned into full blown laughter. Your skeletal palm flew to your forehead as black tears streamed down your cheeks, your single pinprick no longer existing in your eye while you felt the world around you grow heavy.

"THEY'RE GONE!! THEY'RE FINALLY GONE!!! I DID IT, {B/N}, PAPYRUS!!!" You choked out, feeling your legs tremble and wobble till you crashed o to the snow.

Your hands formed into fists as you stared down at the crimson coloured snow, thoughts swirling deep into your head as your happiness slowly turned into despair. "I-I DID IT..." You hiccuped, your hands flying to your eyes to try and smudge off the black tears.

"A-are you proud of me..?" You sobbed out, a maniacal smile decorating where your mouth should be while you tried your best to hear any type of reassurance only to be met with silence.

You sat there in silence for God knows how long, trying to process everything that has happened so far.

You were finally free of the shackles Ch-.... That demon put you through, and now you're the one possessing their SOUL.

Holding that child's SOUL gave you immense power only for it to disappear afterwards. You wonder what had happened to the SOUL after you held it.

You let out one last sniffle as you stared at the body one last time, noticing a gold heart locket on the body.

You regained your iconic smile as you yanked the locket out their neck, observing it as if it were your new prized possession.

"Consider this payment for what you have done to me." You wiped your black tar tears on your sleeve only for it to smudge.

You wrapped the locket around your neck as you secured the accessory around your neck. Seeing it hang loosely around your neck just made you feel proud for finally killing them.

"Um.. Well.. Thank you, mysterious voice.. Whoever you were.." You thanked the voice that had kept bothering you.

Disappointed almost coated your features once silence returned in its stead, before quickly composing yourself.

The sound of wind blowing by you made you let out a shiver unconsciously. "Time to go back to where it all started."

You sighed out, giving out one last glance to the dead body next to you as you turned to face the other way.

You stretched your hand out, trying to remember how the demon tried to open the RESET button. You shut your eyes for more concentration as your other hand unconsciously held the locket as a good luck charm.

You stood there for a few seconds as you peeked an eye only to see nothing there. "...?"

Your heart dropped as your smile faltered a bit. "... Maybe I wasn't concentrating hard enough..?"
