Chapter 2

Authors pov:-

Two sparrows were talking to themselves on a branch of a tree then they suddenly jumped on a window and started shouting which made a girl who was sleeping peacefully, open her eyes beautiful brown eyes. She lazily sat up on her bed meanwhile the birds were singing. She took a look at the birds and showed a huge grin on her face and took her duppata (scarf) and left the bed.

Amrita pov:-

I woke up listening to the birds, I wonder what news have they been talking about. I looked at them and then left the bed to do the morning routine and when I finished them I looked in the mirror to check whether everything was good or not. I looked ok I guess. I went to the kitchen and saw that mother has left kheer(a sweet dish) on the table which was kept packed so that no insect will touch it. I smiled and ate the kheer. Then I went towards Geeta's house to play with her. I came out of the house and locked it and started walking towards her house.

While I was walking I saw an old woman unable to pick her bag, I went towards her and started to help her. I picked her bag and started walking while talking to her. "Dhanyawad beti agar aaj tum nhi hoti to kon iss budhi ka sahara banta."(Daughter if not you who would have helped this old lady) She said to me, I felt so sad so I told her that there are many people who would love to help her,she just met one who was me. But she again told me,"Beti sach me tumhari soch aur dil dono bahut sundar hai tum khud bhi bahut ho. Chahe jo hojaaye tum apna ye rup kabhi nhi badalna. Tum jaisi ho waisi hi rehna."(Daughter seriously your thinking and heart is very beautiful as well as you. Whatever happens please don't change yourself for anything or anyone) I smiled at her compliment and said,"ok".

I dropped the woman at her home and started to walk towards Geeta's house. While I was walking I saw a young man wearing a mask sneaking in between two stores. I felt it suspicious so I started following him to see where he was going. I followed and hid myself whenever I felt him looking back. He stopped in front of a huge waterfall and looked while I was hiding behind a tree and looked at him. He took off his mask and I saw his face. I was surely blushing because the man was no less handsome than a god, he had tanned skin, grey eyes in which if looked deeply pain was visible and his soul. His hair was completely black and his body, his body was full muscles not a single bone was visible and he was shirtless so his abs were clearly visible.

Wait, Amrita what are you thinking you are not even a complete adult yet why thinking strange things about a stranger.

I am sure I was blushing like a tomato but I noticed he started looking here and there sensing my stare. 'Stare' when did you started staring at a person and on top of that a shirtless stranger,Amrita. I hit myself on the head and before he could take a look at me I sneaked out of there and went to Geeta's house.

I reached her home and she opened the gate and said,"Where were you? Do you know how much worried I was? What took you so long? As usual you would be helping some people on the way, right?" Omg, this girl. Did she realise she asked all these in a single breath but that's how she is." Calm down, now do you intend to keep me on the doorstep only. Wait am I not allowed in your home anymore?"  I said fake wiping my tears. She rolled her eyes and opened the door completely. We came inside and I greeted her parents and then walked upto her room and sat on her bed. Then she said asked,"Now tell me where were you?" I told the grandma incident and started speaking about that stranger. She noticed the blush on my face and my way of speaking about his features. She said,"Are you sure you saw a human and not a god himself?" She said and I started laughing and told her that it's not possible I clearly saw a human and maybe he was there to take a bath so she sneaked without being a creep. And they both started laughing like crazy.

But what they didn't know was that the man they were talking about was not a god but the opposite, a complete beast.

I spent my evening there and then went to my house. My mother was again cooking dinner and was looking somewhat stressed so I went towards her and as usual hugged her from the back and then she looked some relaxed. I asked,"What happened maa?" She said that nothing much but she has been forgetting some things from quite a time."Like today I forgot to add salt in the veggie and even though the king ate it without complaining but deep down I knew if I did it again, I will not be able to work in the palace anymore." I got angry and told her that how can a person be so cruel that he will kick out someone from their job just because of not adding salt in the veggie. She told me that the king is like that, he likes perfection in everything and is very strict. I told her,"Ok forget about that king, what are you cooking today?" She said,"you will see but first go and wash yourself." And I went towards the well to freshen up. Then I ate dinner and went to my room. I again looked at moon and called it beautiful but when I realised that I saw that stranger's reflection on the moon and called that beautiful I blushed again and called myself crazy and went to sleep.

Little did she know the time she was staring at the moon, someone else was also staring at it.
