I was hiding behind a tree, and was breathing heavily, but I had it do little to no sound.
I was sweating and shivering at the same time ism was fighting back tears, I couldn't cry, no I had to be strong.
I heard steps behind me think it was that horrendous creature I put my hand over my mouth, the closer the sound of steps got the more I treamblede.
It came in front of me but I closed my eyes as fast as I could thinking that thing got me and was about to kill me, but the hit never came, I hesitated but slowly opens my eyes.
In front of me there was a man not to tall but not to short either.
Neither of us said something, we stayed silent each one of us looking and examining each detail of one another,
he was wearing a red mask with a really long nose, as my eyes scanned him I noticed that he was wearing a light blue haori with white clouds drawn over it.
After the examinating session he expected his hand to me, I hesitated a bit, as my eyes fell on the sword he was holding, it had blood in it.
He followed my eyes and notice that I was looking at his sword, he immediately put it back in his waist.
"Take it" the man said, extending his hand a bit more inviting me to take it, he said with a gentle yet firm voice, contrary to the aura he was giving of. His tone of voice helped me calm down a bit, so I took his hand and got up.
I noticed that my kimono was ripped 'it must have happened when I was running away' I though, I was a bit sad since it was one of my favorite, the man saw my kimono and covered my shoulders with his haori.
The man started walking and I followed him, after five my minutes my eyes started to get blurred, all that running must have finally cough up to me, a few seconds later black dots started to appear in my vision then every thing went black.

It was night and really dark i was doing my night patrol to check if the mountain was safe, when i suddenly heard a bloody scream, i ran as fast as i could to get to where the sound was coming from, the more i "followed" the scream the deaper i got in the forest and the louder the screams got.
when i reached the place the screams where coming from there was a pool of blood and in the middel of it there was someone.
As I got closer I noticed that the person was an old lady, her belly was ripped open, her left leg was half missing and her face had three really deep cuts (like the ones Muzan did to Iguro) which were could only be done by claws this proved evn more my theory that she was killed by a demon.
Near the old lady there were two suit cases as soon as i was about to get closer to take a a look at them I heard the sound of footsteps behind me so I turned around and saw the thing that caused this slaughter. The demon was really tall and skinny, his face deformed like some boiling hot water was poured in it the only thing visible in it were his eyes which were completely yellow, his skill had bluish tone to it and at his he was barefooted. It was mumbling something but the only things i could catch were little girl and ran away, which i think were good enough to tell me what meant.
He must have come back to finish his meal. I didn't let him get any closer and charger forward "water breathing, second form:water wheel" i created a vortex around my blade which allowed me to kill the demon in one swift attack,in less than a minute the demon's body turned to ashes.
Remembering what the demons said about the little girl i started looking around the area and examining every detail, i was able to notice two pairs of footprints one was smaller than the other so i deduct those were the little girl's footprints.
I tarted following them and they led me to one of the biggest trees of the forest.
From behind it i could hear faint sounds but as i got closer they became even fainter 'she must have noticed me, if so she must have great hearing' i thought, so i decided to stop moving to see if she would come out first.
A few minutes later nothing happened so i decide see who was behind the tree, as soon as she saw me she close her eyes,'she must have thought i was a demon' i though, after nothing happened she must have realized that i wasn't the demon she was running away from so she started to slowly open her eyes.
Neither of us said anything so we stayed in complete silence each one of us looking and examining each detail of one another:
She had light blue colored eyes and jet black hair which were a bit messy, she was wearing a light green kimono with small withe flowers drawn over it.
After the examining session we shred i extended my hand so that she could get up but i noticed a bit of hesitation in her eyes which weren't looking at my hand anymore so i followed her gaze and she was looking at my sword which i just killed the demon with that means it was dripping from blood, so i put it back in it's place in my waist, "take it" I said trying to talk in a gentle and soft voice so not to scare her away, luckily she took my hand and got up.
I noticed that her kimono was ripped and a bit thin so gave her my haori to cover from the cold,we started walking and she followed closely behind me a few moments later i heard a loud sound behind me and turned around and draw my sword as fast as i could, i looked around but nothing and no one was there so i looked down and there she was, I immediately got down to check if she was still alive or not and luckily she was, 'she must have fainted from exhaustion' i thought.
I picked her up and put her on my back so that we could get home faster.
As soon as i got home, started looking from Makomo, i found her in her room "Makomo could you please change her and put her in a futon" i asked her as soon as i saw her she looked at me with a questioning look and said "sure sensei but who is she" "i will tell you later"she just nodded and took her "sensei you should get her a wet cloth i think she is starting to get a fever", I nodded and went to the kitchen get what she asked me.
The moment i entered the kitchen i met Sabito my other student as soon as he noticed me bombarded me with questions about who the girl i took in with me was which made realize that i never asked for her name nor told her mine "someone that was attacked by a demon luckily nothing bad happened to her just a few cuts but an older lady wasn't as fortunate" I said with my voice becoming more sad at the end.
"Where's tomioka" I asked Sabito "he is resting he finally was able to cut his rock now we will have to wait for only two weeks to go to the final selection"he said with a happy tone but i wasn't happy about it, i didn't want to send more of my students to that demon. "Go in the forest and bring the girl's belongings and the elderly lady so that we can dig a grave for her and give her a respectful burial,if you can't do it alone call Tomioka so that he can help you out" I said the last part jokingly so that he wouldn't slack of "absolutely not i can do it alone" he said while running out of the door "and be careful not encounter any demon" "don't worry i can take care of my self" he said while his voice got smaller indicating that he was getting further.
I really hope that this time these kids will come back alive and healthy.
3th person POV:
The man said these words while looking up just like he was praying to a god but i still didn't know that only one of his student's will come back alive but mentally healthy i don't think so maybe our protagonist will help him cope with the loss of his two best friends or will she, since she too has her problems.
