AUTHOR'S POV.

lou sat down at the vacant seat, vin looking dull across her as lucy prepared for their breakfast.

"you good?" Lou notice the sudden frowned in vin's look. At all of a sudden she felt a bit concerned about it, which is unusual.

"yes." vin answer.

"doesn't look like." lou said. "consider it." Vin response, A bit intrigued about her comment.

Lou didn't mind it personally and started eating with the food her aunt put in the table. although she does take it personally she didn't dare to Argue anyway, because that's what vin said, she consider it.

The food on the table look delicious—sausage and pancakes, a delicious honey syrup on top and berries.

"Why did you suddenly change your mind to sleep in the guest room?" Lucy question, while sitting next to lou with her fork on her hand.

"I just felt like sleeping in the guest room make lou more comfortable." Vin answer, while giving a bite of his sausage at the same time.

"why? is there a problem between you two?" Lucy ask again. "between us? we're just friends." vin response.

-FLASHBACK-

"did you drink?"

Vin stops his tracks. he peeked at the small compartment in the door. he kept his movement silence as he watch lou and tom talk.

"what if i did?"
"What you gonna do about it?"
"Nothing, just asking."

It's obvious that's there something going on between them, but he don't wanna know, he don't wanna assume.

Vin's eyes widen when their mouth collided, lou stepping back while her body finally hit the wall. tom's hand supporting his body toward her, Lou's arm wrapped around his neck.

vin step balk from the door, frowning slightly as he lean at the wall on the side.

He tried his best not to feel any sort of jealousy, although he felt his blood boiling by just looking at them. Maybe there is something between them, Too hard to even called just friends..

Vin soon decided to walk downstairs, going into Lucy's room while she saw her on her usual laptop, with her glasses on her eyes.

"vin, do you need anything?" She ask.

"um..can i just sleep in the guest room instead?" Vin spoke.

lou grab her glass of water, drinking it while she stood up, walking into the kitchen to put her plate and glass in the sink. lucy look at her, as well with vin following behind her.

"Hey where you both going?!" lucy yell as the two vanished in her sight.

lou walk out as she lean at the wall, waiting purposely for vin to walk out.

"where the hell—.." Vin look around.

"Did you saw us?" Lou spoke, which make vin startled at the point he almost jumped on his position.

"W-what are you talking about?" Vin ask.

Lou step closer, which vin did the opposite.

"I'm not going to ask you again, vin." lou crossed her arms. "you saw me and tom kissing, didn't you?"

Vin can't handle without looking at her beautiful eyes. although she seemed mad, the beauty wouldn't get off her face. who the hell would resist her.

"silence means yes." Lou rolled her eyes in annoyance.

"you better shut your mouth about it, we good?" She threatened him.

She gave him a deadly stare before she walk at the door to walk in, but vin stop her—by grabbing her arm.

lou looked at him in a puzzled.

"are you two dating?" Vin ask, vin's face was dead serious in all. "dating? we're just friends."  lou mocked what vin said earlier.

"friends but kissing? friends but have feelings with each other? is that what you called 'friends'?" Vin told her, his brows frowning with disappointment.

"what is it to you?" lou smirk.

She simply shrug her arm from him. without looking back, she walk pass him. Lou didn't give a fuck, not even one bit of mercy on talking toward vin like that.

they've broken up, what is it to him if they were dating or not. he have no right to give any reasonable comment about them anyway, he should mind his own business.

TOM POV.

"Did he finally left?" i ask toward lou. she take a glance at me, "yes." she nods.

I look at the other way and smile.

"well that's great, no one will bother you." I turn back at her, with a normal face. I don't wanna act all happy about it, not in front of her.

"So, do you wanna go somewhere?" i say.

"go where?" she ask. "mall? my treat." I offered.

"good timing, I'm also going to shop a dress for prom." She smile.

right, prom. it's about a corner on the month, I'm more excited because that'll be one of the best event in the whole school year.

And I'm planning to invite the most gorgeous girl to dance with me, Laurel.

"alright, let's go then" I stood up, grabbing her hand as she stood up as well.

Me and lou headed to my car. she didn't wore that fancy, a white tank top and a grey cargo skirt will do, she look beautiful in every way, with clothes or n—.
