“Casper, do I have to?” I groaned, emphasizing the word ‘have.’ A naughty grin spread itself all over his face as his mind began clocking devious plans. My best friend is a youtuber, and most of the time I manage to wriggle myself out of his little amusing videos, but today I hadn’t quite done it. “It’s not that bad Grace, all you have to do is get somebody to text a message for you. Come on, please?” He flashed a toothy smile at me and fluttered his eyelashes, resembling a woman exceptionally well. “Fine.” I mumbled, putting on a childish stroppy act and sauntering out the door.

I waited patiently on the wall outside Casper’s flat while he collected various filming gear and gave Sam a call. All the more famous youtubers were almost like a gang, and being inseparable with Casper I was an hounery member of the crew. As I scrolled aimlessly down my twitter feed, staring through it as if there was nothing in my hands, a figure jumped up behind me. “Jesus Sam you scared the crap out of me!” I yelped, turning round to be greeted with the mischievous face of Sam Pepper. His black hair flicked out underneath a snap back hat giving off the impression of one of those too cool for school losers with no future visible further than the bottom of a public bin. I swiped his hat from his had and with little protest from the victim, placed it carelessly on my own head. “Where’s Casper then?” He asked wonderingly.

“He should be down any minute now, please try and convince him not to make me be in the video?” I pleaded hopefully. Just as Sam was about to reply, the door opened and Casper revealed himself, carrying his beloved camera close to his waist. “Right, let’s get going then. So the plan is to go up to people in the street and get them to text some dodgy things?” He half questioned in his South African/British accent.

They discussed today’s events the entire short walk into London while I tagged along at Casper’s side. As soon as we got there, Sam eagerly volunteered to go first. We set the camera up and set ourselves a distance away from victim number one. Playing his part perfectly, Sam walked up to a middle aged couple and began to speak. From this far away so as not to be spotted, Casper and I were only just within hearing range but I caught what was said perfectly. “Yeah sorry, could you just text this number saying ‘I’ve done what you said but I don’t know what to do with the body?’ Thanks.” The woman’s face was a picture, but Sam remained perfectly calm. He made his way back to where we were positioned and grinned. “Okay, Grace’s turn!” Casper exclaimed, nudging me forward.

“Wait! I don’t even know what to say, and who to?” I replied, hinting so obviously that this was the last thing I wanted to do. The pair stood thoughtfully, brains whirling with ideas. “Got it! Right, you have to go up to those two lads over there and ask them to text your mum saying something like ‘That cream you gave me has given me a rash and its all gone green, help?’ Okay?” I retreated away cautiously towards the two boys stood leaning casually againt lamptosts.

At the sight of me approaching the one on the left began to gain colour in his cheeks while the right one grinned at him and gave me a mocking look. “Could you text someone for me? I lost my phone.” I muttered, notioning to the smashed blackberry in the dark haired ones hands. He nodded and grunted while the one to the right edged away slightly. “Okay could you say,” I gulped and memorised the words I had been commanded to say. “Mum, the cream you got me didn’t work and it has all gone yellow now. Help asap!” The two boys fell about laughing, not taking me the least bit serious. Their foreheads creased as they giggled uncontrollably while I bit my tongue hard in a failed attempt to keep a straight face. I repeated myself, only causing the humour to increase. Eventually he texted it and held the phone up like I needed proof of the message. “Thanks.” I mumbled, as by this point my cheeks had turned a crimson red and the patronising looks from Sam and Casper in the background were not doing anyone any favours.

“That was brilliant Grace!” Casper screeched, the two of them both in pieces still. Sam mimicked me for a while, until the game continued. Casper went next, picking an elderly woman with her granddaughter. It was then Sam’s turn, who was busted by a girl about our age sat on a bench, gesturing to Casper and I filming while Sam persuaded her to text a message. Despite constant begging from the youtubers I politely refused a second go, but took over role of camera woman.

A/N - Sorry the first chapter is a little slow and boring, but i figured maybe I could pace this one better and carry it on longer than the rest. Feedback is appreciated. Plus the video they are actually making is one Casper and Sam did together called 'Dirty Texting Prank' and I think it is on Casper's channel; dicasp.
