Rajan drove Daivik on his way back home, knowing fully well that Daivik had walked to the hospital. On their way to Rawal Residence they see that the Grewal residence has some activity going on. 

Daivik casually mentioned to Viren that he saw some activity in the Grewal Residence, Viren promised to look into it over the weekend. At dinner, Viren informed Daivik that even for Darsh there are some legal complications in his marriage and Jai has contacted him to get it closed. Daivik said he wanted to pass on the handling boutique thing to Darsh as it aligns more with his business. He will call Darsh to check if he can travel for some time. Veni is excited as Darsh is her favorite chachu but her mood is dampened when she is told that- no, Darsh is not traveling back to India in near future. 

Later, Daivik stands in the doorway as Viren finished tucking Veni in for the night. She was tired after the school event and almost slept on Viren. It was only after Veni had slept off that Viren could slip out of her small bed. While as a grownup Viren looked weird slipping out of the Princess bed, there was something sweet about the father-daughter relationship that hit Daivik in the heart. When Veni was tucked in, Daivik filled Viren on the conversation he had with Rajan.

Daivik informed that Rajan's opinion was —short of DNA testing, Dyuti is his daughter. All evidences pointed in that direction only. 

Viren: Well I have to agree with him, this is a lot of evidence. 

Daivik: Yes, I also have to come to terms with it. Now, I will continue to pursue my proposal to Shubhi. 

Viren: But this time, be very very careful. It is a matter of our family. From today onwards I consider Shubhi and Dyuti as part of this family.

Daivik: We should have been a family....as we were meant to be....

Viren: I know mom should not have interfered and I should have taken an interest....why did you not fight for your marriage?

Daivik: I was still recovering from the heartbreak I suffered during my MBA. I think I was prejudiced against all women.....

Viren: Dev....you have a lot to fix.....go and rest....

In less than two days since he last met her, he was asking the questions if he could have the paternal relationship with Dyuti? He walked to the deity in the wardrobe and prayed again...Can I ask for my daughter. I promise to take care of her the way Viren does for Veni. I promise to be a good father...I understand that I must love the mother to be a good father. I know I have been a bad husband till now...The kisses  that I have stolen...till now.....you can.... say that I am trying to convince the mother....and the kiss the other day  was great....

I know I was not nice to her....when we got married, I was still recovering from the incidents that happened during my MBA....I now realize...this relationship did not get the chance it should have.....Am thankful that you are around....it makes me feel that I am not a monster.....a complete monster....

Is this all your plan? Apparently, the only option I have is to marry Shubhi...your dear girlfriend...the woman who refuses to look at me...and yes that is logical basis what my family and even I have done to her....I do not know the social pressure they might have faced...there is no way to turn the wheels of time back....but I will make amends...if she agrees....

Daivik says he will now go and get his daughter. Then he realizes that till now Shubhi has refused to share her phone number with him. There was literally no way to contact her. She was a freelancer and there was no fixed office to go meet her. He did not know the address of Khanna Kutir either.  Moreover he believed that Shubhi's family will not agree to the marriage without her stated agreement. He wrote to her college email because that was the only contact he had, he had found it when he had emailed her some documents long back.
