Later that night, Daivik finds himself alone in his room, sitting quietly in front of the deity in the cupboard. He closes his eyes for a moment, reflecting on the day. Daivik thanks the deity for this chance and assures them that he will honour the trust that has been placed in him. He informs God that from tomorrow he will be going to the villa for a few weeks.
Daivik: It feels like today was a real turning point. I didn't think things would work out this way, not after everything that happened. The misunderstandings are too much.
He looks at the deity with a mixture of gratitude and humility.
Daivik: (speaking to the deity) Thank you for giving me this chance. I never thought I'd be able to stand beside Shubhi again or be the husband and father that Shubhi and Dyuti deserve.
There's a pause as he exhales slowly, feeling the weight of the promise he is making.
Daivik: (quietly) all the hurt I caused her...I know those neighborhood aunties were just an example of the pain she would have gone through....because of me...I want this chance to...fix everything.....she should never face it again.....
He smiles slightly, feeling a sense of resolve.
Daivik: She is my fiance now...so we are committed to each other, we are becoming a family now...me, Shubhi and Dyuti....soon....thanks for this happiness. I know my heart will finally feel peace....and...love....and ....warmth....
I will not lie.....yes, I wanted her physically....and still want that relationship.....she is beautiful....but you know the truth....she was not a toy to me back then.....and she still isn't...I trusted the wrong people....and let harm come to her.....I thought what they told me was true.....I am not an expressive person but I am righteous.....and they are precious to me I am not planning to be on my best behaviour from tomorrow.....they are my family and I will be as I am, no masks...no falsehood...we should accept each other, as we are....I hope they give me a chance.
He picks up the deity, holding it gently for a moment. He places the deity back in its spot, feeling a quiet but strong sense of peace. After some time he feels that the deity has a mysterious smile and as if on instinct he picks up the deity and places it in his bag. Later, he wonders if the deity wants to travel with him. He remembers how Shubhi talked about the one time she did not take him along on her travels. And that was when all hell broke loose.
The next morning was a new start. Shubhi and her mom went to the hospital and were in the chamber with Rajan to check when Dyuti could be discharged. He advised that they should target the morning the day after tomorrow. He planned to complete some tests and also arrange for medication that they would need to carry to the villa. He is cognizant that it is a remote location, and many things will not be readily available. He calls Viren to inform him of the plan and then they come to know that Viren and Daivik were planning for the same as well they take a sigh of relief. Shubhi's mom is happy that Daivik is taking so much interest in his ex-wife and child, Shubhi is skeptical pegging it to pressure from Viren. She is in no mood to think of Daivik as part of the family, despite the engagement. Rajan noticed that Shubhi had saved Daivik's number as Tubelight :)
In the meantime, in a hospital room in the left wing, two friends were in deep discussion.
Dyuti: Mom and Naani (grandmother) have gone to talk to the Doctor's uncle
Veni: I know you are going to our villa with Daivik Chachu, I heard Papa talking on the phone
Dyuti: Yes, Tushar Mamu told me as well, mom and Chachu are engaged
Veni: Since he is engaged to your mom, you cannot call him Chachu any longer, Dee
Dyuti: So what do I call him Vee
