As the day went by, Aegon spent the remainder of his time attending to his princely duties, which mostly consisted of listening to his father's counsel, attending meetings with advisors, and sitting in on court sessions where he observed various matters being resolved while Valeria wiled away her time doing menial things like walking in the gardens and wandering the library.

Once the sun had set and most of the castle had retired to their chambers, Aegon snuck through the halls quietly, making his way towards Valeria's bedchamber.

He would find her in front of her mirror, trying on the bag of commoner's clothes that he had given her after breakfast.

She was dressed in a long-sleeve cream dress with stitched on patches of worn fabric around her dress skirt. Her corset was also a plain-worn leather that was tightened to her figure yet was still a little too big for her. And her worn leather boots and her hair down in waves with no style finished the look of a common woman-not the Princess of Dorne.

Valeria was running a brush through her hair, just staring at herself and not realizing he had entered.

Aegon's breath caught in his throat as he entered the room and saw Valeria in that simple, yet striking outfit. Her appearance wasn't regal or refined, but it had a certain charm and natural beauty to it that was captivating.

He stood there for a moment, just taking in the sight of her, before finally finding his voice.

"You look..." He paused, searching for the right words. "...Perfect."

Valeria stopped brushing her hair, pulled out of her thoughts as she turned around to face him. She looked at him surprised and blushing for a moment, looking down at her attire.

"In this?" She asked, not convinced. "I look boring."

He stepped closer, slowly circling her as he studied her appearance closely. His eyes took in every detail of her outfit, the way the dress hugged her curves, the way the fabric highlighted her natural beauty.

"Not boring," he said. "Simple. Honest. Authentic."

He stepped in front of her again, his eyes meeting hers. "You look beautiful," he said softly, his voice filled with genuine admiration.

The way his eyes lingered on her so and the tone of his voice made her blush redder and smile to herself.

"Thank you."

She set her brush aside on the table as she looked him over, also in commoner's clothes and a cap on his head to hide his silver hair. One of his most notable traits. But still...he was handsome.

"You as well," She complimented. "We look positively...average."

He smirked playfully, "Well, average is a bit of a stretch, don't you think?" He teased. "I mean, we can still see how handsome I am under all this fabric."
