Yunho || Mingi
I headed out the door, feeling the cool morning air as I walked to meet up with the guys.
Wooyoung, San, and Jongho were already waiting. We had a full day planned – something to take my mind off the usual routines and responsibilities.
First, we decided to hit a local club. It was still early, but the place was already filling up. The music was loud, the kind that made your chest thump with every beat.
We found our spot near the bar, ordering drinks and letting the alcohol loosen us up. The energy in the club was infectious, and soon we were on the dance floor, losing ourselves to the rhythm.
The flashing lights and the pulsing bass drowned out any lingering thoughts of last night's tension.
After a while, the club scene started to get old, so we decided to do something different – an amusement park.
It was a bit of a drive, but the change of scenery was refreshing. The park was bustling with people, the sounds of laughter and excitement filling the air.
We hit up all the major rides – the roller coasters, the drop towers, anything that promised an adrenaline rush. It felt good to let loose, to feel the wind in my face and the thrill of the rides.
We spent hours there, eating junk food, playing games, and just enjoying ourselves. By the time the sun started to set, we were ready for the final part of our plan – the bar.
We found a spot that was known for its laid-back atmosphere and good drinks. It was the perfect place to wind down after an eventful day.
At the bar, we grabbed a table in the back, where it was quieter. We ordered rounds of drinks, talking and laughing about everything and nothing.
It was during these moments that I appreciated my friends the most – they were a distraction from everything else, a way to forget the responsibilities and the complications of my life.
As the night wore on, I felt the alcohol dulling my senses, a warm haze settling over me. We kept drinking, the conversations growing louder and more animated.
As we continued our conversation, the unease in my chest grew. San's words lingered in my mind, and I couldn't just let it go. The irritation began to bubble up again, this time stronger.
"Hold on," I said, my voice sharper than I intended. "You guys are always bullying him. You can't just sit here and pretend he's some kind of saint now."
San sighed, rubbing the back of his neck. "Mingi, it's not like that. You know how it is. We've all done things for reputation."
"What?" I snapped, feeling my frustration peak. "So all that bullying, all those times you made fun of him, that was just for show?"
Jongho looked uncomfortable but nodded. "Yeah, kind of. I mean, Yunho's always been different, but that doesn't mean we hate him. It's more about fitting in, you know?"
Wooyoung chimed in, his usual bravado gone. "We've got a reputation to maintain, Mingi. We mess with him because it's what's expected, but it doesn't mean we don't see his worth."
I stared at them in disbelief. "So, all this time, you've been pretending? Making his life hell just to keep up appearances?"
San shrugged, giving me a tired look. "It's not like we wanted to hurt him. It's just easier to go along with what everyone expects. We figured he understood that."
I felt a rush of anger and confusion. "Understood that? How could he possibly understand that? You've been treating him like crap since the first time y'all met him."
