some dimension curse thingy he gets sent over. he integrates into the fire nation and eventually serves at the royal palace. he teaches iro to fight without bending and martial arts instead cause he's pretending to be a non-bender. they both continue exchanging letter and eventually azula and zuko are born. he's assigned to be the kids babysitter later on, azula insists shes fine and just leaves while zuko stays in fear of getting in trouble. he teaches zuko basic martial arts. later on the fire trial thingy happens between the child and father which enrages choso who sees the kid as his brother. he's so mad that he has to leave to room because blood was starting to bubble from his face.

from then on he promises himself to protec zuko at all costs and he stalks zuko or travels with him directly, all avatar episodes he in shadows. Zuko in the air temple episode when he has mental breakdown and burns toph feet, all happens then sparky sparky boom boom man ambushes them, Choso comes out and slashes him with blood. team avatar think he's blood bender and try attacking him, zuko stands between and calms the situation, chosos blood goes back into his cut discretely as zuko claims he's a non-bender. team avatar dismiss the issue but keep a close eye on him. Choso sees zuko as his platonic brother (lol Todo moment) and is VERY overprotective the team learns.

one day while aang and zuko are away training with dragons or something katara and sokka pull him aside and threaten to reveal his secret if he doesn't explain. so he showcases his cursed technique and explains his situation, also adding on he doesn't age and what he is cause he still looks the same as he did when he first met iro many many years ago. then the team trusts him a lot more and says he should reveal this to zuko but he says no cause it may cause him to lose trust or whatever.

drama happens (idk what yet) and secret reveal woaoah!
