Monarch of the Gates/ Solo leveling

Sore

Ok, a major writers blessing is going on right now. The creative juices are flowing so you get a lot of chapter back to back. I can't say this chapter will be all that long but i do hope you like it! So onto the story!

Y/n POV

The next morning was peaceful. The sun shined in through the blinds and as my eyes slowly fluttered open. I looked around and began to sit up until i felt it. Everything. Everything was in pain.

"HOLY FUck?!" I shout and groan. I try to stretch my body but immediately regret it as my legs begin to cramp. I curl up into a ball as my body stays in pain. I hear the door open and see Kira standing in the doorway wearing sweats and a T-shirt along with a cup of coffee.

"Ya sore?" She asks with a smirk she's trying to hide. "You know, slamming into a wall and getting hit by crab legs can't be all that good on the body right?" She says with a cocky voice.

"Shut up..." I mutter and roll off my bed and stand up using my bed as a post. "Can't you see im already dealing with the consequences?" I ask and glare.

She laughs and walks off, "I was just saying."

I groan and grab some clothes before painfully walking to the bathroom to shower. "Hopefully the warm water will help..." I whisper and lock the bathroom door. I turn on the shower and strip. I stare at myself in the mirror and grimace. A giant bruise was on my rib, nothing was broken though somehow. I sigh and step into the shower. I sigh as the warm water runs over my body. I grab the shampoo and begin washing my hair.

Soon enough i finished the shower and got out to begin drying myself off. I put on my shorts and loose T along with my fuzzy socks before grabbing my toothbrush and giving my teeth the brushing they needed.

"God... today is gonna suck." I whisper and painfully walk down the stairs. I grab a cup of coffee and flop down onto the couch. Turning on the TV i take a sip and begin my lazy day hoping that by tomorrow these aching pains would be completely gone, or at the very least bareable.

Kira POV

Unlike Y/n i wasn't all that sore. I guess since i was support and i didn't do any major fighting my body took less of a toll. Other than the slight drain of my mana, causing me to feel more tired than usual, i felt barely nothing. I changed into some running clothes and walked out of the apartment after teasing Y/n some more. I put my headphones on and begin running as I listen to my music. Following a path that i had never taken before I admired the shops i had never seen before along with the many restaurants. I take a sharp turn and feel myself bump into someone. I stop and turn ready to apologize before seeing the man himself, Sung Jinwoo.

"Oh! You're Kira? Y/n's friend yeah?" He questions me and i nod with a smile.

"yeah that's me! I'm sorry for bumping into you!" I say and laugh. "you know something, i feel like we're always bumping into each other." I point out with a laugh.

"Yeah, that's what Y/n said last time we talked. By the way she said you two found a secret gate. Did you finish it?" He asks with a friendly smile.

"Yeah! We actually completed it last night. Got home at like  1 in the morning. I dont think I've ever been more tired. Y/n was even worse. She the combat person, I offer support and since it was only us two she was fighting a lot. Not to mention that it was two huge monster plus a bunch of tiny ones." I ramble with a smile.

"So, she's pretty strong to handle most of the fighting herself." He points out and laughs, " she really doesn't give off the vibe. Maybe its because she tends to be very snappy or scatter-brained when we talk."

"That's cause she thinks your cute." I say subconsciously and flinch, " Oh shit dont tell her i said that please! She'd literally kill me if she found out i said that to you!" I beg and look at him with pleading eyes. He looks back at me with wide eyes and blushed slightly as he rubs the back of his neck with a laugh.

"She finds me, cute? Well that's nice to hear." He says and shakes his head. "Well im glad she doesn't find me displeasing." He adds on turn around. "Well I'll be going now. I have to go so I'll see you around, and i won't tell her you snitched." He says before walking off. I breathe a sigh of relief and turn back to my path before taking off on my run again.

At least he didnt seem opposed to the thought of Y/n liking him.
