Chapter 15

Thea spent the rest of the day texting Hayley, Enzo, Bonnie, Jenna, Caroline, Jeremy, and Grams about their New Orleans trip. It was decided by Jenna and Grams that Enzo, Hayley, Thea and Jeremy will be going to New Orleans. They will be staying for 5 to 6 days depending on how long their trip might take place. Thea, using magic from the artifacts at home, sent Marcel a message indicating she will be coming the next day and gave her phone number. Soon she got a reply from Marcel telling her he will meet her at the Rosseau's so no one will doubt they know each other. The 4 packed their necessary things and slept so they could leave early the next day.

NEXT DAY (AFTER THE PLANE TRIP FROM MYSTIC FALLS TO NEW ORLEANS):

As soon as the 4 landed in New Orleans they got in a cab to go to their hotel rooms.

 "So Hayley I know you want to know about your family so ask me what you want to know and I will tell you, later if I missed anything I will tell you that too." 

Hayley thought about it for a few minutes and asked "You said "whatever of my family is left you would introduce them to me." What does that mean?"

 Thea sighed and replied "Your parents are dead Hayley. Marcel gave you to a church father to put you up for adoption because when your parents died things were chaotic and it wasn't safe for you. Then Marcel with a witches help turned whatever is left of your pack to wolves. They can only turn humans on the full moon. That's why we are here now, you are human and we can convince them to move to a different place so they can stay safe and once things get cooled down here you guys can think of what to do." 

"What do you mean by Marcel turning them into wolves?" Hayley enquired after Thea's explanation. 

Thea spent the rest of their way to the hotel explaining to Hayley about everything that happened. (By everything I mean what happened between the witches, wolves and vampires at that time. I don't remember all the details and didn't want to write something wrong so I just said that, but basically whatever Jackson tells Hayley and everything in between.) 

They reach their hotels and go to their rooms. Enzo and Jeremy are going to share a room while Hayley and Thea are sharing a room. After they got up and ate some food the 4 went to Rosseau's to find Marcel.

 "Well you guys are new here, traveling or summer vacation?" A voice asked them. The 4 turned around, while Hayley and Jeremy's nervousness was visible Enzo is great at hiding it. 

"You can say it's summer vacation. Who are you?" Thea asked like she had no clue who it was.

 "Marcel Gerard, pretty famous around here," Marcel amusedly replied and asked "Who might you guys be?" 

"I am Enzo St. John, this is my little sister Hayley Marshall and these two are Hayley's friends Thea and Jeremy Gilbert." Enzo answered amusedly. 

"Sister, with a different last name?" Marcel enquired finding the whole situation hilarious.

 " Adopted." Hayley answered nervously. 

"Aah makes sense. So what made you come to New Orleans?" 

"We heard so much about it and couldn't resist not coming here." Thea replied with a knowing look in her eyes. 

"Well I grew up here. You can say I know each and every building's history in the French Quarter so how about I be your tour guide?" Marcel asked. 

"That would be great. So how about you take us to a few churches. I heard they were quite famous here." Thea suggested. 

Marcel, who understood that Thea is starting with her mission, smiled and said "Of course let's go," He then turned towards his fellow vampires and signed them to keep a watch and be careful.
