8- Happy Birthdays

The Marauders wandered the halls of Hogwarts. It was the 3rd of November, or the day of the twin's birthday. The moon shone through the big windows and reflected on their bright faces. James leaded the group, covered by his invisibility cloak. He poked their heads around corners and made sure the halls were clear of Professors or Filch and his stupid cat.

Remus and Peter stood at the back, Lizzie and Sirius in the middle of the pack. The group was leading them toward their birthday gift.

The room of requirement.

Peter had accidentally found it the week before, hiding from James during a school wide game of hide and seek. When he eventually revealed himself to James, (and got tackled for being in an annoying spot) Remus, Peter and James decided to have the twin's birthday in there.

They got to the empty wall and the twins got given blindfolds to put on and they were led into the room.

"You're standing on my toes you wank!" Sirius yelped as his sister peaked out of the bottom of her blindfold and stomped on his toes.

"You shut it, wank hole!"

"How about both of you shut it!" James spoke to the both of them and motioned to the room.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY" Screams and cheers from all corners of the room rung out and the blindfolds got taken off the twins.

"What the fuck." They both muttered.

James, Remus and Peter had managed to get half of the school into one room for their birthday. In the corner was the twins' cousins, Narcissa and Bellatrix, on the other side was their other cousin, Andromeda smiling up at them with her friends. Narcissa and Bellatrix usually kept to themselves, apart from Narcissa's boyfriend Lucius, who nobody really liked. Andromeda was the nicest family member, although she looked similar to her sister Bellatrix, she looked kinder, with her wide eyes and bright smile.

Regulas was stood in the middle of the room with his group of friends.

He was sorted into Slytherin, so his friends were less liked by the Marauders, but he was still their little brother, so they let him bring them along. Evan Rosier had become his best friend; they had also become inseparable so all of his other friend's kind of faded into the background when they went anywhere.

Lizzie's roommates and some of her other friends where there too. Lilly and Marlene as well as Marlenes friend Mary Macdonald, and Dorcus Medows and some of their friends, Alice and Pandora.

Along with them where some floaters, people who were everywhere but never invited to anything. Rita Skeeter and her stupid notebook. She was always writing in her notebook so that she could write about it her school newspaper 'Hogwarts homepage', always posting the latest gossip. It is actually impressive that she writes all of it by herself, but the Marauders still don't like her. This may be because she has a section in it called 'Marauders madness', a page devoted entirely to the mischief they get up to every week.

The room was decorated with banners and a large record player in the corner. It was currently playing 'Starman' by David Bowie, an artist the group had come to love.

"THERES A STARMAN WAITING IN THE SKY!"

Sirius stated to sing at the top of his lungs.

"HED LIKE TO COME AND MEET US,"

James joined.

"BUT HE THINKS HED BLOW OUR MIND!"

Remus belted it out and Lizzie and Peter laughed at the group of the worst singers on the planet. They both joined in the singing while laughing, causing some wheezing in Peter, who had the funniest laugh in the group. The whole room erupted in giggles, as the group howled in laughter on the floor.
