It's A Girl

Later that day Hayley was looking at random baby girl things on her phone when she heard Klaus and Rebekah's voice. She walked down the stairs and into the room they were in, still looking at baby things.

"I cannot believe you disposed of those vampires without me. You know how I love to set things on fire!" She heard Rebekah pout.

"Was I supposed to leave them in the front yard to rot? Besides, they were my responsibility. They attacked the helpless pregnant girl who's carrying my child!" Klaus asked her in amusement.

"Oh, I am so moved by your new-found sense of fatherly duties towards the werewolf carrying your hybrid bun in her oven." Rebekah said as Hayley walked in.

"Tribrid bun. Not hybrid." Hayley corrected naturally.

"Tribrid?" Rebekah asked, confused.

"Well, your mother's a witch, Klaus and I are wolves, and Klaus is also a vampire. Those things naturally pass on, so it's safe to say those things pass on to the bun as well. Klaus's blood, his vampire blood, is the baby's blood, and we all know how the witch and wolf gene works." Hayley said with a shrug, causing them to look at her shocked.

"Yeah, congrats Klaus, you've just made the most powerful supernatural creature in existence." She said before shrugging, "Anyways, The werewolf would like to know what the plan is." She said, getting on topic.

"Well, that depends what plan you mean, love-- my plan for global domination, or Rebekah's plan to find love in a cruel, cruel world?" Klaus teased, as Rebekah takes a pencil from the desk beside her and throws it in Klaus' direction. Klaus caught it easily though before it could embed itself in his face.

"The plan to rescue Elijah. You know, the big brother with a weird thing for suits? The one who is now in the possession of Marcel after you stabbed him in the back?" Hayley asked, not as judgemental as OG Hayley was in the show. Just saying it. Mostly amused.

"In the front, if we're being specific." He said to her and she looked at her.

"Imagine if that was our kid that was being daggered." Hayley said to him, raising a brow.

"Can't happen. Silver doesn't effect werewolves." Klaus said, amused.

"Gold can. Witches can turn silver to gold." Hayley said and Klaus lost the amused look on his face. "Yeah... While I trust you wouldn't do it, there are others I worry about." She said, side eyeing Rebekah.

"Why are you looking at me?" Rebekah asked her, incredulously.

"Well, you've made it perfectly clear that you don't give a rats ass about this child, and Tyler told me about the things you did back in Mystic Falls. So it's safe to say I wouldn't put it past you." Hayley said before turning to Klaus, "So, you said that you would get him back. So is there a plan, or what?" She asked, snapping Klaus out of his deep stare with the side of Rebekah's head.

"Okay. Well, firstly, Marcel is not my enemy-- he's my friend. Albeit one who is unaware that I'm trying to sabotage his hold over the supernatural community of the French Quarter, but a friend nonetheless. And secondly, I daggered Elijah in order to gain Marcel's trust. If I had known he would place my brother in the hands of a particularly nasty teenage witch, I certainly would have weighed my options a bit differently. And thirdly-- Sister, please." Klaus said, turning to Rebekah, who'd been glaring at Hayley this whole time.

"And thirdly, the plan, as you have demanded, is for Niklaus to simply ask Marcel for Elijah back."

"That's not the whole plan, is it?" She guessed, amused, looking at Klaus.
