"Raidyn! Raidyn!", Draco called out. Raidyn got to her feet as he appeared around the corner of a building nearby and spotted her. "Raidyn! There you are!", he shouted. "Are you ok? We were worried sick!" Raidyn stayed silent, and suddenly embraced him as tight as she could. "I'm ok", she finally said. "Actually, I think I'm ready to be the Avatar." Draco looked at her and smiled. "That's great!", he replied. "Let's get back to the banquet. Everyone is worried about you."
"Ok", Raidyn said quietly.

They walked back to the Town Hall. Upon their entry, the guests fell silent. President Kairu and Raidyn's parents rushed over to her. "Are you ok?", the President asked. "I understand that being the Avatar will be difficult. We are here for you no matter what." Raidyn smiled. "Actually, I'm fine. I saw Aang, and he told me that all of my past lives will be able to guide me as well. I think I'll be ok."

That night, Raidyn had a strange nightmare that she had never had before. She saw Fire Lord Ozai and Sozin's Comet. She tried to escape him, only to be chased by Amon, then Unalak, who was fused with the dark spirit Vaatu. She was captured by the Red Lotus group and Zaheer attempted to force her into the Avatar State as she was bound by chains. She was then rescued by the metalbender Kuvira, who suddenly proceeded to attack her, and Raidyn finally woke up. It was the middle of the night.

That morning, Raidyn arrived in the living room to find her parents, Sensei Satoshi, and Draco standing there talking. "You're up", Draco announced. "Yeah", she responded, rubbing her eyes. "What's going on?"
"I'm going to prepare a plane for you to the Northern Water Tribe that will leave tonight.", her father explained. "As you were born an airbender, the next element you need to learn is water. There's no better place."
"Oh, ok. Thanks", she replied. At that moment she saw someone else out of the corner of her eye. This person had a somewhat dark skin tone and blue eyes, and wore blue clothing. Raidyn instantly recognized her as Avatar Korra. But as Raidyn blinked her eyes, Korra vanished, just like Aang had the night before.

"Actually, Dad", Raidyn said. "I would like to train in the Southern Water Tribe instead." Everyone looked confused. "Why?", her father and Draco asked in unison. "The Northern Tribe is bigger and nicer", her father explained. "I know", she said. "But the last waterbending Avatar was born in the Southern Tribe. I just have a better feeling about it." Her father chuckled. "Ok, then. I'll get a plane to the Southern Tribe."
"I'll go with you", Draco volunteered. "I've always wanted to visit the Southern Water Tribe. Like you said, Korra was raised there, and so was Aang's wife, Katara."
Raidyn smiled. "Of course you can come."

That night, Raidyn and Draco boarded a small private jet, the only passengers. As they sat down, Draco pulled something out of his jacket pocket. "Oh, I almost forgot! I made this for you last night. After the banquet." He handed it to her. It was a necklace made of a thin black cord attached to a small coin-like disc of wood with the Air symbol carved on it. "No way!", she exclaimed. "It's beautiful! You actually made it?"
"Yeah", he replied. "It wasn't that hard, really. It just took me several protoypes to get the carving right", he admitted. She put on her new necklace and hugged him tight. "Thank you, Draco", she whispered. "You're welcome", he whispered back.
Suddenly, the P.A. turned on. "Good evening, Avatar Raidyn and Mr. Draco. I am Captain Hiro, and I will be flying you to your destination tonight. Next stop: the Southern Water Tribe."
