"Sandroneee! Let's take a break from all of your nonsensical experimenting!" I exclaim.
"Nope, I'm not going to. I just found out something amazing..." Sandrone declares, staring back at her notebook.
"Let's see, I mean, it's your birthday, isn't it?" I question further.
She sighed, "No it is not! Stop gas lighting everybody into thinking that it's my birthday today, and perhaps I don't even know my birthday!"
I rolled my eyes in utter annoyance.
"Guess I'll be headed to Dottore's!" I exclaimed, knowing this will definitely trigger her.
"Don't you dare!" she exclaims, giving me what I wanted, her full attention.
"Then.. Go out to the city with me and let's buy you some gifts to fill up this empty office!" I grinned.
She shook her head in disappointment, but came along anyways.
It was as cold as always, and the shops were lit up with lights and candles.
As we walked through the streets, there were murmurs of confusion. Why was the 7th harbinger was here?
I lead Sandrone to one of my favourite shops in town and ordered a small birthday pastry that I was sure she would appreciate.
"Is that what I think it is?" Sandrone gasps.
I nod in excitement, handing over the goods to her, and she snatches it away immediately.
"Manners" I giggle at her, enjoying her rapid pace of eating.
"Come on! I have something to show you!" I pull her out of the shop, welp that mechanic that she's always on, but I lead her to a cliff edge, leaving her for a few minutes alone.
I quickly run into a coffee shop, ordering 2 cups of hot chocolate and dash to another store, containing my orders of the day. Sandrone's birthday.
"Y/n, the surprise is is ready to set off in 10 minutes, better hurry!" the owner tells me, smiling at me.
I thank her, and run off to Sandrone, out of break once I reach her.
Handing her the hot choco, I say, "We'll just chill here for a while. Don't worry! The day isn't over yet!"
As the sky darkened in the few minutes, the countdown for the fireworks were down and they lifted into the sky.
Brilliant, flashing colours flew up into the sky, dissolving once it's trick was done, and I was so excited for the last one.
As the fireworks were at the end, the largest one of all flew up into the sky. As it shaped itself in the air, I could tell Sandrone realized what it was.
It was all those mechanics Sandrone made, and herself in one of them.
Her eyes watered at this, but she hid them to herself.
Last of all, it burst into the sky saying, Happy Birthday Sandrone!

I lead Sandrone into the dark corridors of the Fatui base, into a secret room.
As we stepped in, the room illuminated into a flash of lights and everybody inside cheered, "HAPPY BIRTHDAY SANDRONE!"
The Fatui agents' faces looked nervous at how she would react but as she chuckled, they seemed to relax and cheered once again, singing her a Happy Birthday.

I smiled at the memory I just thought of.
It was her birthday today, and I wasn't going to celebrate with her.
She was probably going to work herself till she passes out.
My birthday was the day I met Sandrone in Natlan.
I had something that I hadn't told Paimon and Aether that day.
Sandrone slid something into my hand, and muttered Happy birthday.
It broke my heart, as I just wanted to go back so bad.
But I already chose my path, and I was going to tread it carefully, even if there were casualties.
I'm going to be alright, right?
