??? pov

The buildings towering over me just are too familiar and heart warming for me to forget. And the person walking beside me....

I just wish they weren't... the fake...

I've gone through this memory before, actually many times, hoping that I would find the right one.

But every time I tried, I would fail and every time I failed... It felt like knives stabbing my heart and cracking into millions of pieces...

"Come on bro!" *** screamed at their phone, apparently loosing in a game.

"*** Get off your phone!" I rolled my eyes. The *** never went on their phone and I hated this. I hated knowing that they were a fake and how the real them would act.

Maybe I would....

But...

I was too weak to reverse it. Every step I took up all my strength...

The only thing I could do to save a spot for the real *** was to do what I had really planned.

I also sit hear, hoping that the world can be covered in chaos...

Y/n pov

"Wow! That's a lot of agents wanting to become soldiers for the palace!" I had cheered when I saw the pilled up papers waiting for admissions to become guards.

Sandrone had told me, "Great job Y/n! I'm sure they appreciate your offer and I am so, so proud of you!"

Now, I was currently sitting in my office, making a plan to what to do next.

Plan #2:

1. Mission 1    finished

2. Harbingers who hate me: Everybody except Sandrone, Arlecchino and Tartaglia

3. What to do with them: kill them? lock them up?

I had no plan that was complex enough to even get rid of all of the former harbingers.

That was until I heard a knock on the door.

"Come in!" I called, and when the door opened, revealing Sandrone.

"My dear Y/n," she said worriedly, "Dottore has asked for a duel for your place...! He says you must not say no to his request or he'll say your too weak for the job!"

"Okay first of all... That is actually SO stupid! You know, I almost beat the legendary traveler with your charm! Also, thanks for that!" I grinned, forgetting to thank her for the gift she had given me.

But instead of saying a normal response, she seemed to have shrank back a little, as if she was hiding something. "So you.... accept his duel invitation..?"
